Microsoft may postpone its next Xbox console for now as the company is now focusing on handheld gaming devices. SteamOS based devices, such as Lenovo Legion Go S, are performing better than Windows devices. Windows system is slow and consumes more battery in handheld. That is why Microsoft is now engaged in improving Windows for handheld. An Xbox-like device is also being made with Asus under the name Project Canon.
