Kansas City Chiefs’ JuJu Smith-Schuster threw it back to 2015 by pulling out Wayne Rooney’s famous boxing celebration in their 34-28 win over the Denver Broncos Sunday.
The wide receiver was found by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the endzone after the Broncos, who lost quarterback Russell Wilson due to concussion, threatened a rally just after halftime.
Smith-Schuster saw it as the perfect moment to perform Rooney’s celebration from Manchester United‘s 3-0 victory over Tottenham in the Premier League seven years ago.
