उपचार में विश्वास की ऊर्जा
सिग्मंड फ्रायड का एक चुंबकीय व्यक्तित्व था। उसमें कोई चीज बहुत रहस्यात्मक थी। वह जो कुछ भी किया करता, वह अर्थपूर्ण दिखाई देता था, क्योंकि वह अपने कृत्य में अर्थ उड़ेलता था। चुंबकीय ऊर्जा से संपन्न कोई व्यक्ति कुछ भी करता है, तो वह चीज बहुत महत्वपूर्ण दिखाई देती है, जबकि किसी अन्य व्यक्ति के हाथों में वह बहुत अधिक सामान्य और साधारण रह जाती है।
क्या तुमने कभी इसका निरीक्षण किया है? तुम बीमार होते हो, तो तुम्हारा डॉक्टर आता है। जिस क्षण वह कमरे में प्रवेश करता है, तुम्हें ठीक होने की अनुभूति होने लगती उसने अभी तक तुम्हें कोई दवा भी नहीं दी है, है। उसने अभी यह निदान भी नहीं किया है कि तुम्हें किस तरह की बीमारी है, यहां तक कि उसने अभी तुम्हें स्पर्श भी नहीं किया है, उसने बस प्रवेश किया है। जिस क्षण तुम्हें यह तुम्हारा पता चलता है है कि तुम्हारा डॉक्टर आ गया है, तुम्ह उपचारक वहां मौजूद है, है, उसी क्षण से फिक्र फिक्र जैसी कोई चीज समाप्त हो जाती है। तुम्हें अब चिंता करने की कोई जरूरत है ही नहीं। अब वहां कोई तनाव रहता ही नहीं है। अब डॉक्टर ही करेगा फिक्र।
यदि डॉक्टर के पास अपना कोई व्यक्तिगत आभामंडल है, तो जब तक वह तुम्हारा रक्तचाप नापता है, तुम्हारी नाड़ी देखता है, तुम ठीक होना शुरू हो जाते हो। दवा तजवीज करने से पहले ही तुम पचास प्रतिशत ठीक हो जाते हो। हो सकता है, दवा उतना अधिक काम नहीं करती, लेकिन डॉक्टर की उपस्थिति ने उससे अधिक कार्य कर दिया। यह तुम्हारा उस पर विश्वास है, तुम्हारे अंदर का उस पर किया गया विश्वास ही उसका आभामंडल है। यही उसका आश्वासन है- ‘डरने की कोई बात नहीं। अब मैं यहां हूंतो।’
मनोपचार अभी भी इस तथ्य के प्रति पूरी तरह सचेत नहीं है कि यह उपचार नहीं है, जो सहायता करता है, बल्कि यह व्यक्तिगत प्रभाव होता है। हो सकता है, वह व्यक्ति स्वयं इस बात के प्रति सचेत न हो कि वह उपचार करने वाली शक्ति के रूप में कार्य कर रहा है। यदि तुम मुझेठीक से समझ रहे हो, तो वह हमेशा ही परमात्मा होता है, जो उसे ठीक करता है। ठीक करने वाला केवल परमात्मा है। यदि कोई व्यक्ति जीवित है, प्रवहमान है, तो

पूरब में एक व्यक्ति सामान्य रूप से अपने सद्गुरु के पास जाएगा, उसके चरणों को स्पर्श करेगा और ठीक हो जाएगा। सद्गुरु इस संबंध में कोई विशेषज्ञ नहीं है, यह केवल उसकी व्यक्तिगत ऊर्जा है, सिर्फ उसमें विश्वास है, जो रोगी को उसके निकट लाता है। पूरब में बहुत थोड़े से मनोचिकित्सक हैं, पर पश्चिम की अपेक्षा लोग मनोवैज्ञानिक रूप से कहीं अधिक स्वस्थ हैं।

Have you ever observed this phenomenon? You fall ill, and your doctor arrives. The very moment he enters the room, you begin to feel a sense of recovery. He has not yet administered any medication; he has not even diagnosed the nature of your ailment; he has not even touched you—he has simply entered. The instant you realize that your doctor has arrived—that the healer is present—from that very moment on, all traces of worry vanish. There is no longer any need for you to be anxious. All tension dissipates. Now, the doctor will do the worrying.
If the doctor possesses a distinct personal aura, then by the time he measures your blood pressure or checks your pulse, you have already begun to heal. Even before he prescribes any medication, you are already fifty percent cured. It is possible that the medicine itself plays a lesser role, while the doctor’s mere presence has accomplished the greater work. It is your faith in him—the trust you harbor deep within yourself—that constitutes his aura. This is the essence of his reassurance: “There is nothing to fear. I am here now.”
Psychotherapy remains not fully cognizant of the fact that it is not the treatment itself that aids in recovery, but rather the personal influence of the healer. Indeed, the individual practitioner may not even be consciously aware that he is functioning as a conduit for a healing power. If you are truly grasping what I am saying, then it is always the Divine—God—who ultimately brings about the cure. The true Healer is God alone. If a person is alive—if he is flowing—

It is that very Divine Presence that is flowing through him. Psychotherapy has yet to comprehend this energy.
In the East, a person will typically go to his Satguru, touch his feet, and be healed. The Satguru is not an expert in this regard; it is simply his personal energy—and the faith placed in him—that draws the patient close. There are very few psychotherapists in the East, yet, compared to the West, people there are psychologically far healthier.
