वॉशिंगटन, एजेंसी। अब तक हम यही समझते थे कि इंसानों की पांच इंद्रियां होती हैं- देखना, सुनना, सूंघना, चखना और छूना। लेकिन वैज्ञानिकों ने हमारे शरीर में छठी इंद्री होने का दावा किया है, जो अब तक छुपी हुई थी। इसका नाम ‘इंटरसेप्शन’ है। इस इंद्री की मदद से हमारा दिमाग और तंत्रिका तंत्र शरीर के आंतरिक संकेत ‘महसूस’ सेहत के लिए जरूरी छठी इंद्री को ‘आंतरिक सुरक्षा गार्ड’ कहा जा सकता है। इस क्षमता से हमारा दिमाग शरीर के अंदर से आने वाले संकेतों को समझता है। ये संकेत बताते हैं कि हमें भूख लगी है, प्यास लगी है, हमारे शरीर का तापमान सही है या नहीं और दिल कितनी तेजी से धड़क रहा है। ये इंद्री हमें बताती है कि हमारे शरीर के अंदर क्या चल रहा है।

Washington, Washington. Until now, we believed humans had five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. However, scientists have claimed the existence of a sixth sense, hidden until now. It’s called “interception.” With this sense, our brain and nervous system can “feel” the body’s internal signals. This sixth sense, essential for health, can be called an “internal security guard.” This ability helps our brain understand signals coming from within the body. These signals indicate whether we are hungry or thirsty, whether our body temperature is normal, and how fast our heart is beating. This sense tells us what is going on inside our body.
It does: when we are hungry, when our heart is beating fast, or when we need to breathe. British scientist Charles Sherrington mentioned this sense, but it hasn’t received much attention.
