Apple and Amazon-backed startup Anthropic are jointly creating a new coding tool. This system is a new version of Apple’s programming software Xcode. Earlier, Apple announced an AI-powered coding tool called Swift Assist for Xcode, which was to be introduced in 2024. It was not made available to developers because Apple engineers had some concerns about a possible slowdown in app development.
