You can check app installs and uninstalls in Google Play Console from your app’s statistics.
1. Open Google Play Console
Go to:
https://play.google.com/console/
Select your app.
2. Check installs and uninstalls
Go to:
Your App → Statistics
Then configure:
- Metric:
UsersorUser acquisition - Time period: Last 7 days / 30 days / 90 days / Custom
- Dimension: Date
Depending on the Play Console UI/version, useful metrics include:
- New users – users who installed your app
- Active users – users who currently have your app installed and are active
- Uninstalls – users who removed your app
- Install events – installation events
- Update events – app updates
3. For a simple install vs uninstall view
In Statistics, look for metrics related to:
| Metric | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New users | New users who installed the app |
| Active users | Users currently using the app |
| Uninstalls | Users who uninstalled |
| Acquisition | How users discovered/installed your app |
You can also change the date range to see daily, weekly, or monthly trends.
4. Important: Play Console numbers can differ
Don’t assume:
Total installs − total uninstalls = current installed users
Google Play reports different user/event metrics, and the definitions and reporting periods matter.
