राहुल को मंदिर जाने से रोकना उचित
राहुल गांधी पूछ रहे हैं कि उन्हें मंदिर जाने से क्यों रोका जा रहा है? इसका उत्तर में इसलिए दे सकती हूं, क्योंकि मैं चार वर्षों तक असम में राही हूं। इस सवाल का जवाब पहले कानून-व्यवस्था के आधार पर, फिर नैतिक आधार पर। पहले कानून-व्यवस्था की बात। सन् 1971 के भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध के बाद करोड़ों बांग्लादेशी शरणार्थी असम सहित कई राज्यों में आ गए और निवर्तमान सरकार की तुष्टीकरण नीतियों के कारण फिर कभी वापस नहीं गए। इस वजह से असम के कुछ जिले अत्यंत संवेदनशील हो गए हैं। सांप्रदायिक हिंसा का यहां पर पुराना रिकॉर्ड रहा है। फिर, यह कोई नौसिखिया भी जानता है कि राज्य की कानून- व्यवस्था का अधिकार सूबाई सरकार के पास होता है। उसके पास तमाम प्रकट कारणों के अतिरिक्त खुफिया जानकारियां भी होती हैं। इसीलिए राज्य सरकार का यह विशेषाधिकार होता है कि यह किसी व्यक्ति को किसी विशेष स्थान पर जाने की अनुमति दे अथवा न दे? और, अगर यह व्यक्ति नामचीन हस्ती हो, तो उसकी जिम्मेदारी कहीं अधिक बढ़ जाती है, क्योंकि उसकी सुरक्षा की जवाबदेही भी राज्य सरकार पर होती है। इसलिए असम की राज्य सरकार ने क्षेत्र की संवेदनशील प्रकृति को देखते हुए उचित निर्णय लिया। वैसे भी, यह कोई नई परिघटना नहीं है। देश के गृह मंत्री को बिहार और बंगाल में कानून-व्यवस्था के आधार पर सभा करने की अनुमति नहीं दी गई थी। लालकृष्ण आडवाणी की चर्चित रथ-यात्रा को बिहार में कानून-व्यवस्था के आधार पर ही रोक दिया गया था और उन्हें गिरफ्तार करके वापस भेज दिया गया था।
नैतिक आधार पर देखा जाए, तो रामलला की प्राण-प्रतिष्ठा में शामिल होने का बुलावा कांग्रेस के नेताओं को भी गया था, लेकिन उन्होंने मना कर दिया। यह वही पार्टी है, जो इस देश के आराध्य भगवान राम को काल्पनिक मानती है। राहुल गांधी की पार्टी के सांसद तो तुष्टीकरण को ही आगे चढ़ाने का काम करते हैं। उनकी पार्टी के ही एक मंत्री ने हाल में रामलाल की मूर्तियों को गुड्डा- गुड़िया कहा था। उनकी पार्टी के सहयोगी तो सनातन धर्म के खिलाफ जहर उगलते हैं और सनातनियों का अपमान करते हैं। ऐसे में, मंदिर जाने से रोककर असम सरकार ने क्या गलत किया ? जिस पार्टी के नेता हिंदू बनने का ढोंग करते हों, उनको भला क्यों मंदिर जाना चाहिए? असम सरकार ने उचित ही राहुल गांधी को रोक दिया। इस मसले को बेवजह तुल देने का कोई अर्थ नहीं। इसके बजाय राहुल गांधी और उनकी पार्टी को अपने गिरेबान में झांकना चाहिए।

It is right to stop Rahul from going to the temple
Rahul Gandhi is asking why he is being stopped from going to the temple? I can answer this because I have been living in Assam for four years. The answer to this question is first on the basis of law and order, then on moral grounds. First the matter of law and order. After the India-Pakistan war of 1971, crores of Bangladeshi refugees came to many states including Assam and never went back due to the appeasement policies of the outgoing government. Because of this, some districts of Assam have become extremely sensitive. There is a long record of communal violence here. Then, even a novice knows that the state government has the authority to maintain law and order in the state. Apart from all the obvious reasons, he also has intelligence information. That is why the state government has the prerogative to allow or not allow a person to go to a particular place. And, if this person is a famous personality, then his responsibility increases much more, because the state government is also responsible for his security. Therefore, the state government of Assam took an appropriate decision considering the sensitive nature of the area. Anyway, this is not a new phenomenon. The Home Minister of the country was not allowed to hold meetings in Bihar and Bengal on the grounds of law and order. Lal Krishna Advani’s famous Rath Yatra was stopped in Bihar on law and order grounds and he was arrested and sent back.
If seen on moral grounds, Congress leaders were also invited to participate in the consecration of Ram Lalla, but they refused. This is the same party which considers this country’s idol Lord Ram as imaginary. The MPs of Rahul Gandhi’s party only work to promote appeasement. A minister from his own party had recently called the statues of Ramlal as dolls. His party colleagues spew venom against Sanatan Dharma and insult Sanatani people. In such a situation, what wrong did the Assam government do by stopping people from visiting the temple? Why should leaders of a party whose leaders pretend to be Hindus go to the temple? Assam government rightly stopped Rahul Gandhi. There is no point in emphasizing this issue unnecessarily. Instead, Rahul Gandhi and his party should look inward.
