Meta has introduced a new version of its Llama AI model series, Llama-4. These models have been trained on text, image and video data. Llama-4 will be used in apps like WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. However, its distribution is banned in the European Union and large companies will have to take a special license. According to Meta, this includes Scout, Maverick and Behemoth. Maverick and Scout have been made available on several platforms including Hazing Face, while Behemoth is still in training. Maverick is better than GPT-40 and Gemini 2.0 in many areas, while Scout performs well in coding and document summary.
