Meta removed the ban on the word martyr
Facebook and Instagram’s parent company Meta last year banned the use of the Arabic word martyr on all its platforms. However, Meta found in its review that this word does not violate its rules in any way, after which the company has lifted the ban imposed on the word martyr. Due to Meta’s old policy, such content was also removed, which was not intended to praise violent actions.
