हे दीनबंधु स्वामी, सुन लो पुकार मेरी।
जीवन न बीत जाये, अब तो कृपा हो तेरी ॥
मैं हूं सदैव निर्बल, कैसे लगूं ठिकाने।
नौका पड़ी भंवर में, तुफानों ने आन घेरी ॥
कब से भटक रहा हूं, एक सोच में पड़ा हूं।
कैसे किनारा पाऊं, जब हो दया न तेरी ॥
दुख दर्द की घटाएं, चारों तरफ से आयीं ।
अज्ञान का झमेला, बिगड़ी दशा है मेरी ॥
लाखों जनम गंवाये, आवागमन में पड़कर।
मंगल मिलन में तेरे, हो हाथ अब न देरी ॥
जीवन के दिन हैं कितने, बाकी रहे हैं जितने।
गुजरें तेरी लगन में, यह कामना है मेरी॥
O Lord, friend of the helpless, hear my plea.
May my life not pass by without your grace.
I am always weak, how can I find my way?
My boat is caught in a whirlpool, surrounded by storms.
For so long I have wandered, lost in thought.
How can I reach the shore without your mercy?
Clouds of sorrow and pain have gathered all around.
Entangled in ignorance, my condition is dire.
I have wasted countless lives, caught in the cycle of birth and death.
May there be no more delay in our auspicious union.
However many days of life remain,
May they be spent in devotion to you, this is my only wish.
