ऐसे हादसों के लिए रेलवे ही जिम्मेदार

देश में कभी दो ट्रेनों के टकराने, कभी स्टेशन पर भगदड़ मचने, तो कभी किसी ट्रेन से कटकर लोगों के मारे जाने की खबरें आम हो गई हैं। हर दो-चार दिन पर कहीं न कहीं रेल हादसे होते रहते ही हैं। लेकिन समझने की बात है कि इन हादसों के लिए कौन जिम्मेदार है? गौर से देखें, तो रेलवे की लापरवाही ही इन हादसों के लिए जिम्मेदार है।

मिर्जापुर रेल हादसे के बाद का एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया में खूब वायरल हो रहा है। इसमें हादसे के बाद अधिकारी हंसते हुए बातें कर रहे हैं। इसकी जांच होनी चाहिए और अगर यह वीडियो सच है, तो इस अधिकारी को जेल की सजा होनी चाहिए। इस तरह की मनोवृत्ति अधिकारियों में आम तौर पर पाई जाती है। तत्काल कार्रवाई और सजा होने पर ही ऐसे अधिकारियों की अकड़ खत्म होगी, लोगों की जान गई, पर ये अधिकारी हंस रहे हैं।

ऐसे में, लगता है कि इनकी सोच में ही ऐसे हादसे बस गए हैं और इतने लोगों की जान गई, उनको कोई मतलब ही नहीं। इस हादसे के बारे में सुनकर लोगों की आंखों में आंसू आ गए। परिवार के लोगों को कितना बड़ा सदमा लगा होगा। मुझे बहुत दुख हुआ है इस मंजर को देखकर। दुनिया के अन्य देशों, विशेषकर यूरोप और अमेरिका में देखें, तो इस तरह के हादसे नहीं होते। होते भी होंगे, तो कभी दस-बीस साल में एक बार। लेकिन इसके बाद पूरा देश मुस्तैद होकर उसे सुधारता है और आगे ऐसी घटना न घटे, इसे सुनिश्चित करने के लिए हर जरूरी कदम उठाता है।

लेकिन, अपने देश में देखें, तो आलम ही कुछ और है। कहीं रेलवे के फाटक टूटे हुए मिलेंगे, तो कहीं पटरियों पर तरह-तरह की गड़बड़ियां दिखेंगी। ऐसा लगता जैसे इन कमियों को देखने वाला कोई नहीं है। जबकि इस तरह के कार्य के लिए रेलवे है, की ओर से बड़ी राशि खर्च की जाती है। ऐसे में, जरूरी है कि हादसों के लिए अधिकारियों की जिम्मेदारी गंभीरता से तय की जानी जाए और इसे पूरी सख्ती से लागू किया जाए। क्योंकि इस तरह की लापरवाही से देश में न केवल हादसे होते हैं, बल्कि देश का आर्थिक नुकसान भी होता है। रेल प्रशासन को संवेदनहीनता और अगंभीरता को बिल्कुल समाप्त करने पर जोर देना चाहिए। लेकिन लाख टके का सवाल यह है कि यह करेगा कौन ? नियम-कायदे लागू कराने वाले भी तो अधिकारी ही हैं। निश्चित रूप से सभी अधिकारी एक जैसे नहीं होते। बड़ी संख्या में प्रशासनिक लोग गंभीर भी होंगे, मगर उन्हें मौका नहीं मिलता। संवेदनशील अधिकारियों को यदि आगे लाया जाए और जिम्मेदारी दी जाए, तो वे बेहतर प्रदर्शन करेंगे। ऐसे में, हादसों को बिल्कुल रोका जा सकेगा।

A video from the aftermath of the Mirzapur train accident is going viral on social media. In it, officials are seen laughing and chatting after the accident. This should be investigated, and if the video is true, the official should be jailed. This kind of attitude is common among officials. Only immediate action and punishment will end the arrogance of such officials. People have lost their lives, yet these officials are laughing.

In such a situation, it seems that such accidents are ingrained in their minds, and the loss of so many lives is of no concern to them. Hearing about this accident brought tears to people’s eyes. The family must have been devastated. I am deeply saddened by this scene. If we look at other countries in the world, especially Europe and America, such accidents don’t occur. If they do, they occur only once every ten or twenty years. But then the entire nation mobilizes to rectify them and takes every necessary step to ensure that such incidents do not occur again.

But in our country, the situation is quite different. In some places, railway gates are found broken, and in others, various defects are visible on the tracks. It seems as if no one is there to address these shortcomings. Despite the fact that the Railways spends a significant amount of money on such work. Therefore, it is essential that officials be held accountable for accidents and enforced strictly. This negligence not only leads to accidents but also causes economic losses. The railway administration must focus on completely eliminating insensitivity and carelessness. But the million-dollar question is, who will do this? It’s the officers who enforce the rules and regulations. Of course, not all officers are the same. A large number of administrative personnel may be serious, but they don’t get the opportunity. If sensitive officers are brought forward and given responsibility, they will perform better. This way, accidents can be completely prevented.
