छत्तीसगढ़ के कुछ महत्वपूर्ण स्थान जो श्री राम जी से जुड़े हैं
चंद्रखुरी
चंद्रखुरी महत्वपूर्ण ऐतिहासिक और धार्मिक महत्व रखता है क्योंकि यह भगवान राम का ननिहाल है। यहीं माता कौशल्या का जन्म हुआ था। जन्मस्थली में माता कौशल्या का एक प्राचीन मंदिर स्थित है जहां माता कौशल्या और बालरूप में प्रभु श्रीराम की बेहद दुर्लभ और अनूठी प्रतिमा विराजमान है। इस प्रतिमा में बालरूप में प्रभु श्रीराम माता कौशल्या की गोद में बैठे नजर आते हैं।
तुरतुरिया
यह बलौदबाजार भाटपारा में स्थित है। इस जिले में स्थित तुरतुरिया नामक गांव में महर्षि वाल्मीकि का आश्रम स्थित है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि यहीं पर प्रभु श्रीराम के दोनों पुत्रों लव और कुश का जन्म हुआ था। बलभद्री नाले का पानी चट्टानों के बीच से निकलता है, जिससे तुरतुर की आवाज आती है। यही वजह है कि इस जगह का नाम तुरतुरिया है।
रामगढ़
छत्तीसगढ़ के अंबिकापुर से लगभग 60 किमी दूर स्थित रामगढ़, सरगुजा का सबसे पुराना ऐतिहासिक स्थल है और भगवान राम और प्रसिद्ध कवि कालिदास से जुड़े होने के कारण इसका बहुत महत्व है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि भगवान राम ने अपने 14 वर्ष के वनवास के दौरान यहां निवास किया था। रामगढ़ ऐतिहासिक और पौराणिक महत्व रखता है। रामगढ़ की पहाड़ियां अपनी शानदार खूबियों के लिए जानी जाती हैं।
रामाराम
छत्तीसगढ़ में भगवान राम का अंतिम पड़ाव सुकमा जिले में स्थित रामाराम गांव था। इस गांव का नाम भगवान राम के नाम पर रखा गया है। यहां पर एक पहाड़ी है जिस पर प्राकृतिक रूप एक शिला में पदचिन्ह की आकृति नजर आती है। लोक मान्यता है कि प्रभु श्रीराम यहां से होकर गुजरे थे और यह उन्ही के पदचिन्ह हैं।
जगदलपुर
छत्तीसगढ़ का दंडकारण्य क्षेत्र जाने वाले बस्तर का भगवान राम के 14 साल के वनवास से गहरा नाता है। पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार वनवास के दौरान भगवान श्री राम, लक्ष्मण और माता सीता बस्तर के रास्ते गुजरते हुए दक्षिण भारत पहुंचे थे। इस दौरान उन्होंने बस्तर के चित्रकोट, तीरथगढ़ और बस्तर की ऐतिहासिक धरोहर दलपत सागर व रामपाल मंदिर में समय भी गुजारा था। आज भी इन जगहों में भगवान राम के आने के प्रमाण मिलते है।
सिहावा
सिहावा सप्तऋषि आश्रम के लिए जाना जाता है, जिसका नाम प्रसिद्ध ऋषि श्रृंगी के नाम पर पड़ा है, महानदी, धमतरी से लगभग 65 किमी दूर सिहावा की पहाड़ी से निकलती है। रामायण के अनुसार, यह ऋषि श्रृंगी का आश्रम था, जिन्हें राजा दशरथ ने एक विशेष यज्ञ की अध्यक्षता करने के लिए अयोध्या में आमंत्रित किया था ताकि उनकी तीनों पत्नियों को पुत्र रत्नों की प्राप्ती हो सके।
सीतामढ़ी-हरचौका
प्राचीन काल से सीता की नाम से प्रसिद्ध सीतामढी हरचौका का धार्मिक महत्व है। यह छत्तीसगढ़ के कोरिया जिले के उत्तर-पश्चिम दिशा में भरतपुर तहसील के अंतर्गत जनकपुर से 28 किमी दूर (लगभग) स्थित है। भगवान राम, माता सीता और भ्राता लक्ष्मण के साथ मबई नदी को पार कर सर्वप्रथम छत्तीसगढ़ की भूमि पर यहीं पहुंचे थे। यहां पहाड़ों में सात प्राचीन गुफा कक्ष है जिन्हें माता सीता की रसोई के नाम से जाना जाता है।
तातापानी
रामकथा में तातापानी का भी वर्णन सुनने ने को मिलता है। छत्तीसगढ़ के उत्तर में बलरामपुर जिले में गर्म पानी का यह प्राकृतिक सोत है। यहीं पर भगवान शंकर की विशाल प्रतिमा भी स्थापित है। माना जाता है कि अपने वन पथ गमन के दौरान भगवान श्री राम ने यही पर अपने हाथों से भगवान शंकर की प्रतिमा बनाकर उसकी पूजा की थी।
शिवरीनारायण
शिवरीनारायण, जांजगीर-चांपा जिले में स्थित है। अपने वनपथ गमन के दौरान भगवान राम यहां पहुंचे थे और वनवासी माता शबरी की ममता से अभिभूत होकर प्रभु ने शबरी के झूठे बेर खाये थे। शिवरीनारायण में हीं जोक, शिवनाथ और महानदी का संगम है। इस जगह पर नर-नारायण और शबरी का मंदिर है। मंदिर के पास स्थित वट वृक्ष के पत्ते दोने के आकार के हैं।
Some important places of Chhattisgarh which are associated with Shri Ram Ji
Chandrakhuri
Chandrakhuri holds important historical and religious importance as it is the maternal birthplace of Lord Rama. Mother Kaushalya was born here. An ancient temple of Mata Kaushalya is situated in the birthplace where a very rare and unique statue of Mata Kaushalya and Lord Shri Ram in child form is present. In this statue, Lord Shri Ram in child form is seen sitting in the lap of Mother Kaushalya.
Turturia
It is situated in Balaudbazar Bhatpara. Maharishi Valmiki’s ashram is situated in a village named Turturiya situated in this district. It is believed that it was here that Lord Shri Ram’s two sons Luv and Kush were born. The water of Balabhadri drain comes out from between the rocks, due to which the gurgling sound comes. This is the reason why the name of this place is Turturiya.
Ramgarh
Ramgarh, located about 60 km from Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh, is the oldest historical site of Surguja and has great significance due to its association with Lord Ram and the famous poet Kalidas. It is believed that Lord Rama resided here during his 14 years of exile. Ramgarh holds historical and mythological importance. The hills of Ramgarh are known for their magnificent features.
Ramaram
The last stop of Lord Ram in Chhattisgarh was Ramaram village located in Sukma district. This village is named after Lord Ram. There is a hill here on which the shape of a footprint is visible naturally in a rock. It is a popular belief that Lord Shri Ram passed through here and these are his footprints.
Jagdalpur
Bastar, known as Dandakaranya region of Chhattisgarh, has a deep connection with the 14 years of exile of Lord Ram. According to mythology, during their exile, Lord Shri Ram, Lakshman and Mother Sita reached South India via Bastar. During this period, he also spent time in Bastar’s Chitrakot, Tirathgarh and Bastar’s historical heritage Dalpat Sagar and Rampal Temple. Even today, evidence of Lord Ram’s presence is found in these places.
Sihawa
Sihawa is known for Saptarishi Ashram, named after the famous sage Shringi, Mahanadi originates from the hills of Sihawa, about 65 km from Dhamtari. According to the Ramayana, it was the ashram of sage Shringi, who was invited by King Dasharatha to Ayodhya to preside over a special yajna so that his three wives could be blessed with sons.
Sitamarhi-Harchowka
Sitamarhi Harchauka, known as Sita since ancient times, has religious significance. It is located 28 km (approximately) from Janakpur under Bharatpur tehsil in the north-west direction of Koriya district of Chhattisgarh. Lord Ram, along with Mother Sita and brother Lakshman crossed the Mabai River and first reached the land of Chhattisgarh here. Here in the mountains there are seven ancient cave chambers which are known as Mata Sita’s Kitchen.
Tatapani
One can also hear the description of Tatapani in Ramkatha. This natural spring of hot water is in Balrampur district in the north of Chhattisgarh. A huge statue of Lord Shankar is also installed here. It is believed that during his forest journey, Lord Shri Ram had made the idol of Lord Shankar with his own hands and worshiped it here.
Shivrinarayan
Shivrinarayan is situated in Janjgir-Champa district. Lord Ram had reached here during his journey through the forest and being overwhelmed by the love of the forest-dwelling mother Shabari, the Lord had eaten the false berries of Shabari. There is a confluence of Jok, Shivnath and Mahanadi in Shivrinarayan. There is a temple of Nar-Narayan and Shabari at this place. The leaves of the banyan tree situated near the temple are double-shaped.
