It is a sad fact that many people are overweight. I am aware, because for a long time I was at least one. Being 5’6″ and pretty much 200 pounds is not a good look. My nickname among the friends of mine was “Wombat”. For people that are not Australian (not all people may be very lucky!), a wombat is as a badger or a groundhog. Fat, round, slow moving and bad tempered. To be truthful, it was not the nickname I would would like to target for myself. I constantly liked Leopard. Or even Dragon. although I have Wombat.
It wasn’t as if I did not try to lose weight. In fact often I did. A bit. For a while. But not enough so someone noticed. A 100 and 80 seven lbs doesn’t look a lot different Fastest way to lose weight for wedding one hundred and ninety 2 pounds. The Wombat lived.
I tried all sorts of diets and restricted eating regimes. The Atkins diet. The Pritikin diet plan. Higher protein-rich diets. (Made me feel sick all of the time). Very low carbohydrate diets. (Made me really exhausted I did not want to do anything but lie in existence and also watch television). Fruit diets! They really got everything going through my body but unfortunately didn’t make me lose weight. Vegetarian diet programs. Several of these diet programs helped for some time. I lost a number of pounds but later on got bored of the sameness of the meals and rapidly place back on whatever I had extremely hard earned lost.
Plus, I was hungry at all times.
Last but not least, I realized I might possibly sit on the couch and achieve nothing until I died, or perhaps, I could very well lose weight and rejoin the human race. I checked on the internet to find a system of losing a few pounds which would work for me. I bought lots of products that promised me weight loss to make a supermodel envious. I tried out. I actually did. The only thing to lose weight was the wallet of mine. I started to lose heart that I was destined to be Wombat all the life of mine.
