दिल है उस नूर का तमन्नाई।
सारा आलम है जिसका सौदाई ॥
जरें-जरें में है उसकी रानाई।
हर तरफ जिंदगी पुकार आई ॥
सूना सूना था जिंदगी का चमन।
हुस्न उसका खिला बहार आई ॥
सौंप दूं अपनी बंदगी तुझको।
ये भी है उसकी इज्जत अफजाई ॥
बस उसी ने खुदा को पहचाना।
जिसने की अपने से शानासाई ॥
The heart yearns for that divine light.
The whole world is captivated by its charm.
Its beauty is present in every atom.
Life calls out from every direction.
The garden of life was desolate and barren.
Then its beauty bloomed, and spring arrived.
I surrender my devotion to You.
This, too, is a way of honoring You.
Only he has truly recognized God,
Who has become acquainted with his own self.
