व्हाट्सऐप एक नए फीचर पर काम कर रहा है, जो लोगों को बिना अपना फोन नंबर डिस्क्लोज किए चैट करने की सुविधा देगा। वेबीटाइंफो के अनुसार, यूजर इस फीचर के आने के बाद यूनिक यूजरनेम की मदद से दूसरों को सर्च भी कर पाएंगे। इसके लिए उन्हें सर्च बार में जाकर यूजरनेम सर्च करना होगा. इस तरह से फोन नंबर को डिस्क्लोज करने की मौजूदा बाध्यता पूरी तरह से दूर हो जाएगी। इस तरह से प्रोफाइल को पर्सनलाइज कर वे अपने फोन नंबर को हाइड कर सकेंगे।
