अतीत का सम्मान, भविष्य की दृष्टि

स्वतंत्रता दिवस और गणतंत्र दिवस प्रत्येक भारतीय के दिल में गर्व, सम्मान और राष्ट्रीय एकता की अमर ज्योति जलाते हैं। यह दिन केवल हमारे गणराज्य की स्थापना का उत्सव नहीं है, बल्कि लोकतंत्र के आदर्शों, हमारी संस्कृति और भारतीयता की अनंत भावना का विशाल महोत्सव है। ये दिवस हमारे गौरवशाली इतिहास का अभिवादन करते हुए हमें स्वर्णिम भविष्य की ओर अग्रसर होने को प्रेरित करते है। ये दिन हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि भारत की ताकत उसकी विविधता में है, जिसका हर राज्य, हर क्षेत्र, हर समुदाय अपनी अनोखी पहचान और संस्कृति लिए हुए है। हमारे पूर्वजों ने जो संस्कृति और परंपराएं सौंपी हैं, उन्हें संरक्षित करना और आगे बढ़ाना हमारी जिम्मेदारी है।

गणतंत्र दिवस के अवसर पर पिछले एक साल के दौरान विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में अपना पराक्रम और शौर्य दिखाने वाले सैन्य जवानों और नागरिकों को भी सम्मानित किया जाता है। इसके पीछे भावना यह रहती है कि लोग इनसे प्रेरणा लें और देश को आगे बढ़ाने में सहयोग करें।

‘स्वर्णिम भारत’ की बात केवल विरासत तक सीमित नहीं है, यह विकास की बात भी करती है। हमारे सामने एक ऐसे भारत का निर्माण करने का लक्ष्य है, जहां इसके हरेक नागरिक को शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, और रोजगार के समान अवसर मिलें। यह विकास का वह मार्ग है, जो हमें एक समावेशी, टिकाऊ और न्यायपूर्ण समाज की ओर ले जाता है। जब राजपथ (अब कर्तव्य पथ) पर अनुशासनबद्ध कदमताल करती हमारी सैन्य परेड प्रारंभहोती है, तब यह केवल भारत की सैन्य शक्ति का प्रदर्शन नहीं होती, बल्कि हमारे सैनिकों के अदम्य साहस व अटूट संकल्प का जीवंत उदाहरण भी होती है यह परेड। यह दृश्य भारत की राष्ट्रीय एकता का प्रतीक बनकर हर हदय को गर्व और प्रेरणा से भर देता है। विभिन्न राज्यों की झांकियां हमारी सांस्कृतिक विविधता और समृद्ध विरासत का अद्भुत चित्रण करती है, जो ये सिखाती हैं कि भारत की वास्तविक शक्ति उसकी विविधता में निहित है। क्या यह भव्यता हमारे समाज की सच्चाई को भी प्रत्तिविंचित करती है? क्या संविधान में लिखी स्वतंत्रता और समता जैसी बातें हमारे जीवन में भी साकार होती हैं, या वे केवल किताब तक सीमित हैं?

गणतंत्र दिवस का असली अर्थ सिर्फ परेड और उत्सव तक सीमित नहीं है, यह हमें आत्ममंथन के लिए प्रेरित करता है। भारत, विश्व का सबसे बड़ा लोकतंत्र है, पर क्या वास्तव में हमारे नागरिकों को लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों को जीने का अवसर मिलता है? लोकतंत्र को हमारे रोजमर्रा के जीवन का हिस्सा होना चाहिए।

Independence Day and Republic Day ignite an eternal flame of pride, respect, and national unity in the heart of every Indian. These days are not merely a celebration of the founding of our republic, but a grand festival of the ideals of democracy, our culture, and the indomitable spirit of Indianness. These days pay homage to our glorious history and inspire us to move towards a golden future. They remind us that India’s strength lies in its diversity, with each state, region, and community possessing its unique identity and culture. It is our responsibility to preserve and carry forward the culture and traditions bequeathed to us by our ancestors.

On Republic Day, military personnel and civilians who have displayed valor and courage in various fields over the past year are also honored. The underlying sentiment is that people should draw inspiration from them and contribute to the nation’s progress.

The concept of a ‘Golden India’ is not limited to heritage; it also speaks of development. We have the goal of building an India where every citizen has equal opportunities for education, healthcare, and employment. This is the path of development that leads us towards an inclusive, sustainable, and just society. When our military parade, with its disciplined march, begins on Rajpath (now Kartavya Path), it is not merely a display of India’s military might, but a living example of the indomitable courage and unwavering resolve of our soldiers. This spectacle, a symbol of India’s national unity, fills every heart with pride and inspiration. The tableaux from various states beautifully depict our cultural diversity and rich heritage, teaching us that India’s true strength lies in its diversity. Does this grandeur also reflect the reality of our society? Are the ideals of freedom and equality enshrined in the Constitution truly realized in our lives, or do they remain confined to the pages of a book?

The true meaning of Republic Day is not limited to parades and celebrations; it inspires us to introspection. India is the world’s largest democracy, but do our citizens truly have the opportunity to live by democratic values? Democracy should be an integral part of our daily lives.
