कैलिफोर्निया यूनिवर्सिटी के वैज्ञानिकों ने ऐसा दिमाग में लगाया जा सकने वाला उपकरण विकसित किया है, जो व्यक्ति के दिमाग में सोचे गए शब्दों को सुन कर आवाज में बदल सकता है। यह तकनीक गंभीर रूप से लकवाग्रस्त मरीजों के लिए संचार का नया जरिया साबित हो सकती है। इस उपकरण के जरिए मरीज जो सोचेगा वह शब्दों में परिवर्तित हो जाएगा।
Scientists at the University of California have developed a device that can be implanted in the brain, which can listen to the words thought in a person’s mind and convert them into voice. This technology can prove to be a new means of communication for severely paralyzed patients. Whatever the patient thinks through this device will be converted into words.
