तुम्हारे दिव्य दर्शन की, मैं इच्छा ले के आया हूं।
पिला दो प्रेम का अमृत, पिपासा ले के आया हूं ॥
रतन अनमोल लाते हैं, हजारों भेंट को तेरी।
मैं केवल आँसुओं की, मंजुमाला ले के आया हूं ॥
जगत के रंग सब झूठे, तू अपने रंग में रंग दे।
मैं अपना ये महा बदरंग, बाना ले के आया हूं ॥
तेरा प्रकाश हो जाये, मेरी अंधेरी कुटिया में।
तुम्हारे आश्रय पाने की, आशा ले के आया हूं ॥
I have come yearning for your divine vision.
Quench my thirst with the nectar of your love, for I have come with a parched soul.
Thousands bring precious jewels as offerings to you,
But I have brought only a garland of tears.
The colors of the world are all false; dye me in your own hue.
I have brought this utterly faded garment of mine to you.
May your light illuminate my dark dwelling.
I have come with the hope of finding refuge in you.
