तू ही ईष्ट मेरा, तू ही देवता है,
तू ही बंधु मेरा, सखा और पिता है ॥
नहीं चाहना और, है कोई मन में,
तुझे चाहता हूं, यही कामना है॥
जी हालत से तुझको, भले भूल जायें,
मगर तू हमें हर घड़ी देखता है॥
तेरा पत्ता-पत्ता, पता दे रहा है,
सरासर गलत है, कि तू लापता है॥
पर ऐ सच्चे रहबर, पथिक को बता दो,
किधर से चला था, किधर जा रहा है ॥
You are my beloved, you are my deity,
You are my brother, my friend, and my father.
There is no other desire in my heart,
I long for you, this is my only wish.
Even if we forget you in our circumstances,
You watch over us every moment.
Every leaf of yours is giving a sign,
It is utterly wrong to say that you are missing.
But O true guide, tell this traveler,
From where did he come, and where is he going?
