जात-पात पूछे नहीं कोई
जगद्गुरु रामानंदाचार्य ने भारत में जो व्यापक प्रयोग किए, इसीलिए भी यह भूमि श्रेष्ठ हुई। भक्ति और भग्वद् प्रेम को ऊंची जातियों से आगे विस्तार देते हुए उन्होंने साफ कह दिया कि जात-पात पूछे नहीं कोई, हरि को भजे सो रे का होई। उनके शिष्यों में हर जाति-वर्ग की विभूतियां थीं। उन्होंने पहली बार महिला संतों को शिष्या रूप में स्वीकार किया। उनके परम प्रिय बारह शिष्यों में पद्मावती और सुरसरि भी थीं। ब्राह्मण अनंतानंद भी उनके शिष्य थे और जुलाहे कबीर भी। राजा पीपा भी शिष्य थे, चर्मकार हरि सनातन धर्म सबको प्रेरित करने वाला धर्म बन गया। भी। कि रैदास भी। शिष्यों में धन्ना जाट भी थे और सेन नाई उन्होंने भारतीय समाज को ऐसे संयोजित किया है, के वैदिक सनातन धर्म केवल ब्राह्मणों का नहीं केवल भारत वालों का नहीं है, किसी भी प्रकार भेदभाव का नहीं है। सनातन धर्म संपूर्ण मानवता का धर्म है। भगवान ने अनादि वेदों का स्मरण किया और संसार को वेद मिले। केवल ब्राह्मणों, क्षत्रियों को नहीं, सबको मिले। कहना चाहिए कि जैसे राम जी की तुलना राम जी से होगी और किसी से नहीं। ठीक वैसे ही रामानंदाचार्य की तुलना और किसी आचार्य से नहीं होगी। भारतीय समाज में रामानंदाचार्य अतुलनीय हैं। उन्होंने भक्ति और प्रेम की भाषा को सहज बनाकर जन-जन तक पहुंचाया। उन्हीं की छत्रछाया में बाद में हमें श्रीरामचरितमानस जैसा पावन-अनुपम लोक ग्रंथ लोकभाषा में प्राप्त हुआ।
अपना देश यूं ही नहीं महान है। हमारे संतों ने अपने मन से ही कहा, रेमन मूरख। यहां हम दूसरे को मूरख क्यों कहेंगे, अपने मन को ही कहेंगे और अपनी प्रेम-भक्ति का उत्थान करेंगे। रामानंदाचार्य ने अद्भुत कार्य किए, मानव जीवन और सनातन धर्म के लिए। उन्होंने सबको मिलाकर रखने के धार्मिक अभिप्राय को समझा।
कुछ लोग कहते हैं कि हम मानव धर्म को मानते हैं। वास्तव में, वैदिक सनातन धर्म से जुड़ा मनुष्य जीवन ही प्रशस्त है। सड़क से दूर खेत में कोई गाड़ी जा फंसी हो, तो पेट्रोलिंग वाले भी उसे कुछ नहीं बोलते हैं। जो गाड़ी नेशनल हाईवे पर हो, उसकी तत्काल मदद की जा सकती है, पर जो गाड़ी मार्ग पर ही नहीं है, उसकी मदद कौन करेगा ? अतः हम स्वयं को भटकने न दें, इसीलिए रामानंदाचार्य हमें निर्मल मन के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं।
भारत में तो वैदिक सनातन धर्म है, लोग सुबह उठते हैं, तो हथेली पर ही ईश्वर के दर्शन कर लेते हैं। भगवान के नाम से सुबह की शुरुआत करते हैं। पृथ्वी पर पांव रखने से पहले उसे प्रणाम करते हैं। पग-पग पर भगवत्स्मरण ही सनातन जीवन है। रामानंदाचार्य के पद पवित्र गुरुग्रंथ साहिब में भी सुशोभित हैं, जिसका भाव है कि आप अपने मन में परमात्मा को बसा लीजिए, तो फिर आपको कहीं जाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
जगद्गुरु रामानंदाचार्य ने अपने जीवन में अद्भुत कार्य किए, मानव जीवन और सनातन धर्म के लिए। उन्होंने सबको मिलाकर रखने के धार्मिक अभिप्राय को समझा।

This land became great also because of the extensive work done by Jagadguru Ramanandacharya in India. Extending devotion and love for God beyond the upper castes, he clearly stated that no one should ask about caste; whoever worships Hari (God) belongs to Him. His disciples included eminent personalities from every caste and class. He was the first to accept women saints as disciples. Among his twelve most beloved disciples were Padmavati and Surasari. The Brahmin Anantananda was also his disciple, as was Kabir, the weaver. King Pipa was also a disciple, as was Raidas, the cobbler. Dhanna Jat and Sena Nai were also among his disciples. He organized Indian society in such a way that Vedic Sanatana Dharma became a religion that inspired everyone. He emphasized that Sanatana Dharma is not just for Brahmins, nor only for Indians, and is free from any kind of discrimination. Sanatana Dharma is the religion of all humanity. God recalled the eternal Vedas, and the world received the Vedas. Not just Brahmins and Kshatriyas, but everyone received them. It should be said that just as Rama can only be compared to Rama and no one else, similarly, Ramanandacharya cannot be compared to any other acharya (teacher). Ramanandacharya is unparalleled in Indian society. He made the language of devotion and love simple and accessible to everyone. It was under his influence that we later received the sacred and unparalleled epic, the Ramcharitmanas, in the vernacular language.
Our country is not great without reason. Our saints said, “O foolish mind!” Here, we will not call others foolish, but our own minds, and we will elevate our love and devotion. Ramanandacharya did amazing work for human life and Sanatana Dharma. He understood the religious purpose of uniting everyone.
Some people say that they believe in humanism. In reality, a human life connected to Vedic Sanatana Dharma is the most auspicious. If a car gets stuck in a field far from the road, even the patrolling officers don’t say anything to it. A vehicle on the national highway can be helped immediately, but who will help a vehicle that is not even on the road? Therefore, let us not allow ourselves to stray; this is why Ramanandacharya inspires us to cultivate a pure mind.
In India, we have the Vedic Sanatana Dharma. People wake up in the morning and see God in the palms of their hands. They begin their day with the name of God. Before placing their feet on the earth, they offer their respects to it. Remembering God at every step is the essence of the Sanatana way of life. Ramanandacharya’s verses are also beautifully included in the sacred Guru Granth Sahib, conveying the message that if you enshrine God in your heart, then you need not go anywhere else.
Jagadguru Ramanandacharya performed extraordinary deeds in his life for humanity and for Sanatana Dharma. He understood the religious principle of uniting everyone.
