Palestine should not be recognised yet

फलस्तीन को अभी मान्यता नहीं मिले

इजरायल की सुरक्षा के नजरिये से देखा जाए, तो ब्रिटेन के प्रधानमंत्री का यह एलान कि उनका देश फलस्तीन को मान्यता दे सकता है, हमास के लिए इनाम ही होगा। फलस्तीन को मान्यता देने की ब्रिटेन की योजना गाजा में युद्धविराम सुनिश्चित करने के प्रयासों को कमजोर करेगी और संभवतः आतंकवाद को पुरस्कृत करेगी। फ्रांस और ब्रिटेन ने यदि फलस्तीन को मान्यता दी, तो इसका गलत संदेश जाएगा और इस क्षेत्र में अस्थिरता को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

संयुक्त राष्ट्र में इजरायल-फलस्तीन संकट का स्थायी समाधान निकालने के लिए जो उच्चस्तरीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन हुआ, इसमें दुनिया के कई देशों ने दो राष्ट्र के सिद्धांत के हक में आवाज उठाई थी। सम्मेलन में न्यूयॉर्क घोषणापत्र नाम से एक योजना पेश की गई, जिसमें गाजा में जारी युद्ध को चरणबद्ध तरीके से खत्म करने व भविष्य में एक स्वतंत्र फलस्तीन राज्य की

स्थापना की बात कही गई है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरस ने अपने उद्घाटन भाषण में कहा कि यह सम्मेलन सिर्फ अच्छी नीयत वाला एक और भाषण मंच बनकर नहीं रह जाना चाहिए। हालांकि, प्रस्ताव इस बात पर भी जोर देता है कि इजरायल की सुरक्षा भी उतनी ही अहम है। इस सम्मेलन की विफलता इस बात से ही सिद्ध हो जाती है कि दुनिया के सबसे ताकतवर राष्ट्र अमेरिका और संकट के एक पक्ष इजरायल ने इस सम्मेलन का बहिष्कार कर दिया।

जिस तरह से हमास व पीएलओ जैसे संगठन गैर-जिम्मेदाराना हरकतें करते हैं और इजरायल पर आतंकी हमले करते रहते हैं, उनको देखते हुए फलस्तीन को मान्यता देना एक आतंकी देश पैदा करने जैसा ही होगा। आतंकी संगठनों के वर्चस्व में रहने वाले गाजा व फलस्तीन को स्वतंत्र मानने से वहां के आतंकी समूहों का

मनोबल बढ़ेगा और इसका दुष्प्रभाव दुनिया के अन्य हिस्सों में चलने वाली ऐसी गतिविधियों पर भी पड़ेगा। हमें नहीं भूलना चाहिए कि कश्मीर में भी फलस्तीनी आंतकियों की दखलंदाजी बढ़ जाएगी। वैश्विक स्तर पर इसी तरह की आशंकाओं के मद्देनजर अमेरिका फलस्तीनी क्षेत्र में कोई आधिकारिक राजनयिक कार्यालय नहीं रखता है और न ही फलस्तीनियों को राजनयिक सेवाएं प्रदान करता है। अक्तूबर 2018 में वाशिंगटन डीसी में पीएलओ मिशन के बंद होने के बाद से फलस्तीनियों का अमेरिका में कोई प्रतिनिधि नहीं है। इन सब बातों को ध्यान में रखते हुए फलस्तीन को देश का दर्जा देने के बजाय वहां के आतंकी गिरोहों को नेस्तानाबूद करने का अभियान चलाया जाना चाहिए। फलस्तीन पर कोई भी सकारात्मक बात तब हो, जब हमास का खात्मा हो जाए।

From the point of view of Israel’s security, the British Prime Minister’s announcement that his country can recognise Palestine will be a reward for Hamas. Britain’s plan to recognise Palestine will weaken efforts to ensure a ceasefire in Gaza and possibly reward terrorism. If France and Britain recognise Palestine, it will send the wrong message and promote instability in the region.

In the high-level international conference held at the United Nations to find a permanent solution to the Israel-Palestine crisis, many countries of the world raised their voice in favour of the two-nation theory. A plan called the New York Declaration was presented at the conference, which talks about ending the ongoing war in Gaza in a phased manner and establishing an independent Palestine state in the future. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in his opening speech that this conference should not remain just another speech platform with good intentions. However, the resolution also emphasizes that Israel’s security is equally important. The failure of this conference is proved by the fact that the world’s most powerful nation, the US, and Israel, a party to the crisis, boycotted this conference.

Given the way organizations like Hamas and PLO carry out irresponsible acts and keep carrying out terrorist attacks on Israel, recognizing Palestine would be like creating a terrorist state. Recognizing Gaza and Palestine, which are dominated by terrorist organizations, as independent will boost the morale of the terrorist groups there and this will also have an adverse effect on such activities going on in other parts of the world. We should not forget that the interference of Palestinian terrorists will increase in Kashmir as well. In view of similar apprehensions at the global level, the US does not maintain any official diplomatic office in the Palestinian territory nor does it provide diplomatic services to the Palestinians. Palestinians have no representative in the US since the closure of the PLO mission in Washington DC in October 2018. Keeping all these things in mind, instead of giving Palestine the status of a country, a campaign should be launched to destroy the terrorist gangs there. Any positive talk on Palestine can happen only when Hamas is eliminated.
