Need to keep Israel in limits

इजरायल को हद में रखने की जरूरत

ब्रिटिश प्रधानमंत्री कीर स्टारमर ने हाल ही में घोषणा की है कि अगर इजरायल गाजा में युद्धविराम के लिए सहमत नहीं होता व स्थायी शांति की दिशा में ठोस कदम नहीं उठाता, तो ब्रिटेन सितंबर में फलस्तीन को देश के रूप में मान्यता दे देगा। इसके बाद पुर्तगाल व कनाडा ने भी उसे मान्यता देने का एलान कर दिया है। इनसे पहले फ्रांसीसी राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों ने भी इस दिशा में फैसला लिया है। मुद्दे को सुलझाने के लिए हाल ही में फ्रांस और सऊदी अरब की अध्यक्षता में एक सम्मेलन हुआ था, जिसमें संयुक्त राष्ट्र के सदस्य देशों में से ज्यादातर के प्रतिनिधि शामिल हुए थे।

ब्रिटेन की शर्तों में गाजा में जारी सैन्य अभियानों को समाप्त करना, पश्चिमी तट पर कब्जा करने की योजना पर रोक लगाना व दो-राष्ट्र के सिद्धांत के तहत शांति प्रक्रिया के लिए प्रतिबद्ध होना शामिल है। इन देशों के एलान से फलस्तीन

के निवासियों और उसके समर्थकों को बल मिलेगा। इसके साथ ही उम्मीद की जानी चाहिए कि पश्चिम एशिया का यह सर्वाधिक जटिल विवाद सुलझने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ जाएगा और अंततः इसका समाधान हो जाएगा।

फलस्तीन को राष्ट्र के रूप में मान्यता देना आज की जरूरत भी है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र और उसके सदस्य देशों द्वारा इस मान्यता के बाद ही पश्चिम एशिया का यह मामला शांत हो सकता है। इसके साथ ही गाजा में भूख से बिलबिलाते बच्चों समेत वहां के लोगों को मौजूदा नारकीय स्थिति से निजात मिल पाएगी। इस विवाद का सबसे जटिल पहलू हमास है। इस आतंकी संगठन की गतिविधियां समस्या समाधान में रोड़ा अटकाती हैं। मगर बात आगे बढ़े, तो हमास को भी रास्ते पर लाया जा सकता है। ब्रिटिश प्रधानमंत्री ने कुछ ऑफर दिया भी है। यहां यह तथ्य ध्यान में रखना होगा

कि उस इलाके का मूल राष्ट्र फलस्तीन ही था, जहां द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध के दौरान इंग्लैंड ने दुनिया भर के शरणार्थी यहूदियों को बसाने की पहल की थी। तब पूरा पश्चिम एशिया ब्रिटेन का उपनिवेश हुआ करता था। उस समय फलस्तीन के लोगों ने दुनिया भर में सताए जा रहे यहूदियों को वहां बसने दिया, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे इजरायल नाम से देश बसाकर इकट्ठा हुए यहूदी शेर बन गए और अमेरिकी समर्थन से फलस्तीनियों को वहां से भगाना शुरू कर दिया। इस दौरान इजरायल ने अपनी उस हद को तोड़कर फलस्तीनी जमीन पर भी अवैध कब्जा कर लिया, जो संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने समझौते के तहत उसके लिए तय की थी। अब न्याय की मांग है कि इजरायल पुनः अपनी हद में लौटे। ब्रिटेन, फ्रांस समेत विश्व समुदाय की जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि वह इजरायल को राजी करे।

To resolve the issue, a conference was recently held under the chairmanship of France and Saudi Arabia, in which representatives of most of the member countries of the United Nations participated.

Britain’s conditions include ending the ongoing military operations in Gaza, stopping the plan to occupy the West Bank and committing to the peace process under the two-nation theory. The announcement of these countries will give strength to the residents of Palestine and its supporters. With this, it should be hoped that this most complex dispute of West Asia will move towards resolution and will eventually be resolved.

Recognising Palestine as a nation is also the need of the hour. Only after this recognition by the United Nations and its member countries, this issue of West Asia can be settled. With this, the people of Gaza, including the children crying out of hunger, will be able to get relief from the current hellish situation. The most complicated aspect of this dispute is Hamas. The activities of this terrorist organisation create obstacles in resolving the problem. But if the matter moves forward, Hamas can also be brought on the right track. The British Prime Minister has also given some offers. Here this fact has to be kept in mind that Palestine was the original nation of that area, where during the Second World War, England took the initiative to settle refugee Jews from all over the world. At that time, the entire West Asia used to be a colony of Britain. At that time, the people of Palestine allowed the Jews being persecuted from all over the world to settle there, but gradually the Jews who gathered to establish a country named Israel became lions and with American support started driving the Palestinians away from there. During this period, Israel crossed its limits and illegally occupied Palestinian land, which was fixed for it by the United Nations under the agreement. Now justice demands that Israel return to its limits. It is the responsibility of the world community including Britain, France to persuade Israel.
