त्याग से ही मिलेगी शांति
भारत में प्रायः सभी धर्मो के लोग पाए जाते हैं। अगर भारत की विभिन्नता को देखकर कोई अपरिचित इसे देशों का समूह या जातियों का समूह कहे, तो इसमें कोई अचंभा करने वाली बात नहीं है। परंतु सूक्ष्मता से विचार करने पर इन विभिन्नताओं में भी एकता नजर आती है, जैसे विभिन्न फूलों को पिरोकर सुंदर हार तैयार किया गया हो। भारतीय संस्कृति में व्याप्त विभिन्नताएं भी ऐसे फूलों व मणियों के समान ही हैं।
भारत में नोति व अध्यात्म ऐसा स्रोत है, जो संपूर्ण भारत में प्रत्यक्ष व परोक्ष रूप में बहता रहता है। हमारे देश में उच्च चरित्र वाले तथा आत्मिक चेतना से संपन्न महापुरुषों का जन्म होता रहा है। भारतीय संस्कृति का मूल आधार अहिंसा है और अहिंसा का दूसरा रूप त्याग है। हिंसा का दूसरा रूप स्वार्थ है, जो भोग के रूप में हमारे सामने आता है। हमारी सभ्यता के अनुसार, भोग की उत्पत्ति त्याग से हुई है व त्याग भोग में हो पाया जाता है। त्याग की भावना मन में उद्भव होने पर मन में अपार सुख वशाति का अनुभव होता है।
वैज्ञानिक व औद्योगिक विकास के भयंकर परिणामों के प्रति हमें सचेत रहना चाहिए व विपत्तियों के आने पर घबराना नहीं चाहिए। पहले भी प्रकृतिद्वारा या मानवद्वारा किए गए अत्याचारों से हम विचलित नहीं हुए।
अब हमें अपने देश भारत में उन अन्यायों व अत्याचारों को नहीं दोहराना है, जो समाज में संघर्ष को जन्म देते हैं। हमें अपनी ऐतिहासिक, नैतिक, सांस्कृतिक चेतना के आधार पर अपनी आर्थिक व्यवस्था को मजबूत करना है। हमारे अंदर स्वयं के कल्याण की भावना न होकर जन कल्याण की भावना होनी चाहिए।
आज विज्ञान के विकास के फलस्वरूप व्यक्ति के हाथ में अतुलनीय और अद्भुत शक्ति है, जिसका उपयोग व्यक्ति व समूह के उत्थान व पतन के लिए होता रहता है, इसलिए हमें जन कल्याण की भावना को जाग्रत करना ही होगा। वर्तमान में भारत की प्रत्येक प्रादेशिक भाषा की सुंदर कृतियों के स्वाद को संपूर्ण भारत को चखाने के लिए उसका देवनागरी हिंदी में प्रकाशन साहित्यिक संस्थानों को करवाना चाहिए। दूसरी तरफ, एक ऐसी संस्था की स्थापना की आवश्यकता है, जो इन सभी भाषाओं के आदान-प्रदान को अनुवाद के माध्यम से आसान कर सके। साहित्य संस्कृति का एक रूप है। इसके अतिरिक्त गान, नृत्य, चित्रकला व मूर्तिकला इसके दूसरे रूप हैं। भारत इन सब कलाओं में एकरूपता द्वारा एकता को प्रदर्शित करता रहा है। यदि पृथ्वी पर कहीं स्वर्ग है, तो यहां ही है, यहां ही है, यहां ही है।
यह स्वप्न तभी सत्य होगा तथा पृथ्वी पर स्वर्ग तभी स्थापित होगा, जब भूमंडल के सारे मानव अहिंसा, सत्य, सेवा को अपना आदर्श मानने लगेंगे।
हमारी संस्कृति का आधार अहिंसा है। अहिंसा का दूसरा रूप त्याग है। हिंसा का दूसरा रूप स्वार्थ है, जो भोग के रूप में सामने आता है। भोग की उत्पत्ति त्याग से है व त्याग भोग में पाया जाता है।

People of almost all religions are found in India. Observing India’s diversity, it’s not surprising if a stranger calls it a collection of countries or castes. However, upon closer examination, even these differences reveal unity, as if a beautiful necklace has been strung together from various flowers. The diversity prevalent in Indian culture is like these flowers and gems.
Ethics and spirituality in India are a source that flows directly and indirectly throughout India. Our country has consistently produced great men of high character and spiritual consciousness. The fundamental foundation of Indian culture is non-violence, and the second form of non-violence is sacrifice. The second form of violence is selfishness, which manifests itself in the form of enjoyment. According to our civilization, enjoyment originates from sacrifice, and sacrifice is found in enjoyment. When the spirit of sacrifice arises in the mind, one experiences immense happiness and peace.
We must be aware of the dire consequences of scientific and industrial development and not panic when disasters strike. In the past, we have not been deterred by the atrocities committed by nature or humanity.
Now, we must not repeat the injustices and atrocities in our country, India, that give rise to conflict in society. We must strengthen our economic system based on our historical, moral, and cultural consciousness. We must have a sense of public welfare, not self-interest.
Today, as a result of the development of science, individuals have incomparable and amazing power in their hands, which is constantly used for the rise and fall of individuals and groups. Therefore, we must awaken the spirit of public welfare. Currently, literary institutions should publish the beautiful works of every regional language in Devanagari Hindi to make them accessible to the entire nation. On the other hand, there is a need to establish an institution that can facilitate the exchange of these languages through translation. Literature is a form of culture. Apart from this, singing, dancing, painting, and sculpture are its other forms. India has consistently demonstrated unity through the uniformity of all these arts. If there is heaven on earth, it is here, it is here, it is here.
This dream will only come true, and heaven on earth will only be established, when all humans on earth embrace nonviolence, truth, and service as their ideals.
