शुगर जेल से उग सकेंगे सिर पर बाल

ब्रिटेन में शेफील्ड विश्वविद्यालय के विशेषज्ञों ने अन्य संस्थाओं के विशेषज्ञों के साथ मिलकर एक ऐसा ‘शुगर जेल’ तैयार किया है, जिसने बालों को दोबारा उगाने में हैरान करने वाले नतीजे दिए हैं। दरअसल, वे ‘डीऑक्सीराइबोस’ नाम की प्राकृतिक चीनी पर एक अध्ययन कर रहे थे। यह चीनी हमारे शरीर में डीएनए बनाने में मदद करती है। विशेषज्ञ कुछ चूहों पर यह जांच रहे थे कि क्या यह चीनी घाव भरने में मदद कर सकती है। तभी उन्होंने एक अनोखी बात नोटिस की। जिन घावों पर यह शुगर जेल लगाया गया था, उनके आस-पास के बाल बहुत तेजी से और घने उग आए थे।
इस शुरुआती संकेत के बाद, उन्होंने आनुवंशिक गंजापन से पीड़ित नर चूहों पर प्रयोग किया। उनकी पीठ से बाल हटाए और उन पर डीऑक्सीराइबोस शुगर जेल लगाया। मात्र 20 दिनों के अंदर, उस हिस्से में लंबे और घने बाल वापस आ गए। यह शुगर जेल बालों को उगाने में मिनोक्सिडिल (दवा) जितना ही असरदार है। इसने लगभग 80 से 90 प्रतिशत तक बाल वापस उगा दिए।

इस खोज से बालों के झड़ने के इलाज में एक नया, प्राकृतिक और सरल विकल्प सामने आ सकता है। डीऑक्सीराइबोस शुगर जेल बालों के फॉलिकल्स में खून की सप्लाई बढ़ाकर उन्हें पोषण देता है। यदि आगे की रिसर्च में यह इंसानों पर भी उतना ही असर दिखाए, तो यह दवाओं के लिए एक सुरक्षित, किफायती और असरदार विकल्प बन सकता है।

Experts at the University of Sheffield in the UK, in collaboration with experts from other institutions, have developed a “sugar gel” that has shown astonishing results in regrowing hair. They were studying a natural sugar called deoxyribose, which helps build DNA in our bodies. The experts were investigating whether this sugar could help heal wounds in mice when they noticed something unusual. The hair around the wounds treated with the sugar gel grew back much faster and thicker.
Following this initial observation, they experimented on male mice suffering from genetic baldness. They removed hair from the mice’s backs and applied the deoxyribose sugar gel. Within just 20 days, long and thick hair had grown back in that area. This sugar gel is as effective as minoxidil (a medication) in regrowing hair, restoring approximately 80 to 90 percent of the hair.
A Safe Alternative to Medications Will Be Developed
This discovery could lead to a new, natural, and simple option for treating hair loss. The deoxyribose sugar gel nourishes hair follicles by increasing blood supply. If further research shows similar results in humans, it could become a safe, affordable, and effective alternative to existing medications.
