उन लोगों ने भी आईफोन के नए मॉडल को लेने वाली भीड़ का मजाक बनाया, जिनकी पीढ़ी जेसीबी की खुदाई घंटों खड़े होकर देखती है। यह भीड़, तो उस भीड़ से यकीनन बहुत बेहतर है, जो नाले में उफनाते पानी को, सीवर की सफाई को, कीचड़ और मिट्टी खोदने को, पेड़ कटने को घंटों देखती है। उनके पास तो फिर भी एक मकसद है, इनके पास क्या है, जो लाठी-डंडे खाकर, आंसुओं से भीगकर अपने नेताओं को देखने जाते हैं?

आईफोन के लिए जुटी भीड़ में से अधिकतर कंटेंट क्रियेटर है। उन्होंने बहुत जतन से पैसे कमाए हैं और बचाए हैं कि जब नया मॉडल आएगा, तो वे वही खरीदेंगे। इसमें भला बुराई क्या है? बेशक, आपको यह दीवानापन लगता हो, मगर इसे ‘क्रेज’ कहते हैं, जो हर दौर में किसी चीज के लिए होता है। कुछ लोग ऐसे ही होते हैं, जिनकी दिलचस्पी अलग होती है।

वे हर चीज को नकारते नहीं हैं, बल्कि उसे समझते हैं। इसलिए भीड़ की इस दीवानगी को आप भी समझिए। आप में से अधिकतर ने उस पहले लड़के की तस्वीर चस्पां कर रखी है, जिसने सबसे पहले नया मॉडल लिया है। यही उसकी उपलब्धि है। कुछ लोग गरिया रहे हैं कि अपने बाप के पैसे उड़ा आया वह। मगर उनको नहीं पता कि इनमें से अधिकतर खुद के पैसे लेकर शोरूम पर पहुंचे थे। आज की पीढ़ी अपने शौक पूरे करने के लिए दिन-रात एक किए है।

अब कुछ लोगों ने कहा कि इस भीड़ को देखिए, क्या यह जरा भी समझदार है? इनसे देश को उम्मीद है। ये हैं, वे लोग, जो हमारा भविष्य हैं। यार, एक बात समझो, फोन सिर्फ फोन नहीं है। वह इस पीढ़ी का ऐसा सहयोगी है, जो उनके हर काम में मदद करता है। वे इस फोन से इतने तरीके के काम करते हैं कि आप सोच भी नहीं

सकते। वे अपने दौर के सबसे बेहतरीन उत्पाद को अपने हाथ में रखना चाहते हैं। इसमें आखिर क्या बुराई है? अभी इनमें से कितने लोग कंटेंट बनाकर, इतनी कमाई कर लेंगे कि सैकड़ों फोन खरीद सकें। यह इनका तरीका है। इसलिए इनको फोसिए मत, उन्हें जीने दीजिए। जो आप नहीं जी सके, कोई तो जिए। हम अपने हमउम्रों से यही कहना चाहते हैं कि इस भीड़ को कोसकर खुद कुंठित मत बनी। सभी को विवेकानंद बनाने निकलोगे, तो तुम्हारे अंदर का विवेकानंद खत्म हो जाएगा। सबको जीने दो, उनके मजे में शामिल हो, उनकी आंखों की चमक में खुश हो जाओ। मुझे उस लड़के का चेहरा नहीं भूलता, जो सबसे पहले फोन लेकर खुश था। एक बात याद रखिए। बहुत लोग फोन से बहुत अच्छा काम कर रहे हैं। उत्तकी हौसला
