सभी पर जादुई असर डालती फागुनी बयार

फागुन आता है, तो प्रकृति भी मानो एक नई कविता लिखने लगती है। सर्दी की जकड़न से मुक्त होकर धरती मानो नई अंगड़ाई लेती है, पेड़ों पर नई-नई कोपले फूट पड़ती हैं, टेसू के फूल आग की तरह दहकने लगते हैं और हवा में चारों तरफ एक अजीब-सो मादकता घुल जाती है। खेतों में सरसों के फूलों का पीलापन आंखों को सुकून देता है, आम्र-मंजरियों की सुगंध मन को बेचैन कर देती है और कोयल की कूक किसी पुरानी प्रेम-कथा की याद दिलाती है। यह केवल ऋतु-परिवर्तन का समय नहीं होता है। यह जीवन के उस शाश्वत सत्य का उद्घोष भी है कि हर पतझड़ के बाद वसंत आता है और हर अंधेरे के बाद उजाला प्रकृति का शाश्वत नियम है।

वास्तव में, फागुनी बयार में एक जादुई असर होता है। यह बयार जब शरीर को छूती है, तो सन के किसी कोने में मोहक स्मृतियां जाग उठती हैं- पिचकारी की फुहार, गुलाल से सने हाथ और मां के हाथ से बने पकवान। आंगन में दादी का फाग गाना, पड़ोस से आती मिठाइयों की खुशबू और रंगों से भरी बाल्टियां। ये सब मिलकर एक ऐसा संसार रचते हैं, जो स्मृति में सदा के लिए बस जाता है।

फागुन सिर्फ एक महीना नहीं है, एक अनुभूति है। यह महीना हमें यह एहसास दिलाता है कि जीवन में सभी रंग होने चाहिए। अगर सभी रंग हों, तो मानव जीवन का हर पल उत्सव बन जाता है। होली के रंग जीवन-दर्शन के प्रतीक भी हैं। लाल रंग प्रेम और ऊर्जा का है, जो याद दिलाता है कि जीवन में जोश और उत्साह जरूरी है। नीला रंग आकाश और अनंत का प्रतीक है, जो हमें संकीर्णता से ऊपर उठने की प्रेरणा देता है। हरा रंग प्रकृति और जीवंतता का संदेश देता है। यह बताता है कि अपनीजड़ों से हमेशा जुड़े रहो, धरती से कभी नाता मत तोड़ो। पीला रंग ज्ञान और प्रसन्नता का वाहक है, जो वसंत का रंग है। केसरिया रंग त्याग और वीरता का प्रतीक है, तो सफेद रंग शांति, पवित्रता व समभाव का। होली का उत्सव असलियत में हमें यही सिखाता है कि जब सारे रंग मिल जाते हैं, तब न कोई ऊंचा रहता है, और न कोई नीचा। सब एक रंग में रंग जाते हैं।

यह पर्व भारतीय सभ्यता की उस महान परंपरा का हिस्सा है, जो विविधता में एकता की बात करती है। होली के दिन जब रंग उड़ता है, तब वह अमीर-गरीब, ऊंच-नीच का भेद नहीं देखता। राजा और रंक एक ही रंग में रंग जाते हैं। यह वह पवित्र क्षण है, जब तमाम सामाजिक दूरियां मिट जाती हैं और इंसान केवल इंसान रह जाता है। फागुन का रंग हमें समभाव का पाठ पढ़ाता है।

With the arrival of Spring, nature itself seems to begin writing a new poem. Freed from the shackles of winter, the earth stretches out, fresh buds sprout on the trees, the Tesu flowers glow like fire, and a strange, intoxicating fragrance permeates the air. The yellow of mustard flowers in the fields soothes the eyes, the fragrance of mango blossoms rests the mind, and the cuckoo’s call brings to mind an old love story. This isn’t just a time of changing seasons. It’s also a proclamation of the eternal truth of life: spring comes after every autumn, and light after every darkness is nature’s eternal law.

Indeed, the Spring breeze has a magical effect. When this breeze touches the body, enchanting memories awaken in some corner of the body—the spray of a water gun, hands smeared with gulal, and mother’s handmade dishes. Grandma’s Phaag songs in the courtyard, the aroma of sweets coming from the neighborhood, and buckets full of colors. All these together create a world that remains in the memory forever.

Phagun is not just a month, it is an experience. This month makes us realize that life should have all the colors. If all the colors are present, every moment of human life becomes a celebration. The colors of Holi also symbolize the philosophy of life. Red represents love and energy, reminding us that passion and enthusiasm are essential in life. Blue symbolizes the sky and infinity, inspiring us to rise above narrow-mindedness. Green conveys the message of nature and vitality. It tells us to always remain connected to our roots, never break our ties with the earth. Yellow, the color of knowledge and joy, is the color of spring. Saffron symbolizes sacrifice and bravery, while white symbolizes peace, purity, and equanimity. The festival of Holi truly teaches us that when all the colors come together, no one is superior or inferior. Everyone is drenched in one color.

This festival is part of the great tradition of Indian civilization, which speaks of unity in diversity. When colors fly on Holi, they discriminate between rich and poor, high and low. The king and the pauper are drenched in the same hue. This is that sacred moment when all social distances disappear and man remains just human. The colors of Phagun teach us the lesson of equanimity.
