छोड़ कर संसार जब तू जायेगा।
कोई न साथी तेरा साथ निभायेगा ॥
गर प्रभु का भजन किया ना, सत्संग किया ना दो घड़ियां।
यमदूत लगाकर तुझको, ले जायेंगे हथकड़ियां ॥
कौन छुड़ायेगा, कोई न साथी तेरा…..
इस पेट भरन की खातिर, तू पाप कमाता निशदिन ।
शमशान में लकड़ी रखकर, तेरे आग लगेगी एक दिन ॥
खाक हो जायेगा, कोई न साथी तेरा…..
यह सत्संग की गंगा है, तू इसमें लगा ले गोता।
वरना इस दुनिया से तू, जायेगा एक दिन रोता ॥
फेर पछताएगा, कोई न साथी तेरा…..
क्यों कहता मेरा-मेरा, यह दुनिया रैन बसेरा।
यहां कोई न रहने पाता, है चंद दिनों का डेरा ॥
हंस उड़ जायेगा, कोई न साथी तेरा…..
श्री संत चरण में निशदिन, तू प्रीत लगा ले बंदे।
कट जायेंगे सब तेरे, ये जन्म-मरण के फंदे ॥
पार हो जायेगा, कोई न साथी तेरा…..
When you leave this world,
No companion will be there to accompany you.
If you haven’t sung the Lord’s praises, nor spent even a few moments in holy company,
The messengers of death will come and take you away in chains.
Who will save you? No companion will be there for you…
For the sake of filling your stomach, you commit sins day and night.
One day, they will place wood on you in the cremation ground, and set you ablaze.
You will turn to ashes, no companion will be there for you…
This is the Ganges of holy company, take a dip in it.
Otherwise, you will leave this world weeping one day.
Then you will regret it, no companion will be there for you…
Why do you say “mine, mine”? This world is just a temporary resting place.
No one can stay here forever, it’s a dwelling for only a few days.
The soul will fly away, no companion will be there for you…
O devotee, dedicate your love to the feet of the holy saints day and night.
All your bonds of birth and death will be broken.
You will be liberated, no companion will be there for you…
