Discussion is Necessary to Restore Dignity

गरिमा स्थापित करने को चर्चा जरूरी

लोकसभा में वंदे मातरम् पर चर्चा से लोगों को राष्ट्रगीत की गरिमा, ऐतिहासिकता और प्रासंगिकता के बारे में जानकारी मिली। पिछले 150 वर्षों में इस राष्ट्रगीत के उपयोग में कई बार उतार-चढ़ाव देखे गए। राष्ट्रीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के दिनों में यह आजादी के दीवानों का जोश बढ़ाने वाला नारा बन गया था। लेकिन आजादी के बाद इसे लेकर तरह-तरह के विवाद पैदा किए जाने लगे। इसकी गरिमा को ठेस पहुंचाई जाने लगी। जिस बंदे मातरम् से पूरे देश में राष्ट्रीयता की लहर पैदा हुई, उसी देश को टुकड़ों में बांटने का जघन्य पाप किया गया। इसके बाद भी इस गीत के साथ अन्याय हुआ और इसे पूरे संदर्भ से काट दिया गया। आलम यह है कि देश में कोई इसे पूरा गाने को स्थिति में नहीं है। ऐरी उपेक्षा असहनीय है।

बंग-भंग के खिलाफ हुए आंदोलन के दौरान बंदे मातरम् की गूंज जनमानस में बैठी। राष्ट्रीय चेतना जागृत करने के लिए उस समय ‘वंदे मातरम् समिति’ बनाई गई थी। 1906 में जब पहली बार कांग्रेस का झंडा बनाया गया, तब उसके मध्य में बंदे मातरम् लिखा था। कुछ लोग यह नैरेटिव बनाने की कोशिश कर सकते हैं कि जन-गण-मन और वंदे मातरम् के बीच एक दीवार खड़ी की जा रही है। ऐसा प्रयास विभाजनकारी सोच है। जो लोग यह बात नहीं समझते है वह मां की ममता को भी नहीं समझ सकते। असलियत यह है कि जन-गण-मन और वंदे मातरम् मां भारती की दो आंखें हैं। मां भारती के दो अमर सपूतों की किलकारियां है। बंदे मातरम् का उ‌द्घोष किसी के खिलाफ नहीं है, बल्कि यह राष्ट्रीय स्वाभिमान की अभिव्यक्ति है।

वंदे मातरम् के साथ जो अन्याय हुआ, उसे जानना जरूरी है। इससे देश की भावी पोढ़ी अन्याय करने वालों की मानसिकता को ठीक तरह से समझ सकेगी। वंदे मातरम् के साथ हुआ अन्याय तुष्टिकरण की राजनीति का कारण बना, जिसने आजादी के बाद सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द को कमजोर किया। वंदे मातरम् की भुला दी गई पंक्तियों भारत की आत्मा की पंक्ति हैं। ये पंक्तियां बताती हैं कि भारत का अध्यात्म तोड़ने का नहीं, जोड़ने का काम करता है। वंदे मातरम् की उपेक्षा की गई, उसे खंडित किया गया। इसके साथ इतिहास का एक बड़ा छल हुआ है। इस राजनीतिक छल और अन्याय के बारे में सभी पीढ़ियों को जानना चाहिए, क्योंकि यह अन्याय एक गोत के साथ नहीं था, यह आजाद भारत के लोगों के साथ था। हालांकि, इस अन्याय के बावजूद राष्ट्रगीत का महत्व कभी कम नहीं हो पाया। वंदे मातरम् स्वयं में पूर्ण है, लेकिन इसे अपूर्ण बनाने की कोशिश की गई। इसीलिए आज जरूरी है कि हम वंदे मातरम् पर चर्चा करें और इसकी गरिमा को फिर से स्थापित करें।

The discussion on Vande Mataram in the Lok Sabha informed people about the dignity, history, and relevance of the national anthem. Over the past 150 years, the use of this national anthem has seen many ups and downs. During the national freedom struggle, it became a rallying cry for freedom fighters. However, after independence, various controversies began to arise around it, tarnishing its dignity. The same Vande Mataram, which sparked a wave of nationalism across the country, was then used to commit the heinous crime of dividing the same country into pieces. Despite this, the song has been treated unfairly and cut from its full context. The situation is such that no one in the country is able to sing it in full. This neglect is unbearable.

During the movement against the partition of Bengal, the Vande Mataram resonated with the people. The Vande Mataram Committee was formed at that time to awaken national consciousness. When the Congress flag was first designed in 1906, it had “Vande Mataram” written in the center. Some may try to create a narrative that a wall is being built between “Jana Gana Mana” and “Vande Mataram.” Such an attempt is divisive. Those who do not understand this cannot even comprehend a mother’s love. The reality is that “Jana Gana Mana” and “Vande Mataram” are the two eyes of Mother India. They are the cries of two immortal sons of Mother India. The proclamation of “Vande Mataram” is not against anyone; rather, it is an expression of national pride.

It is important to understand the injustice done to “Vande Mataram.” This will enable the future generations of the country to better understand the mindset of those who perpetrated the injustice. The injustice done to “Vande Mataram” led to the politics of appeasement, which weakened communal harmony after independence. The forgotten lines of “Vande Mataram” are the lines of India’s soul. These lines show that India’s spirituality unites, not divides. Vande Mataram has been neglected and fragmented. This has been a major historical deception. All generations should be aware of this political deception and injustice, because this injustice was not directed at a single tribe, but at the people of independent India. However, despite this injustice, the importance of the national anthem has never diminished. Vande Mataram is complete in itself, but attempts have been made to make it incomplete. Therefore, it is imperative today that we discuss Vande Mataram and restore its dignity.
