जेहादी आतंकवाद की कोई सीमा नहीं होती

ऑस्ट्रेलिया में यहूदी समुदाय को निशाना बनाकर किया गया आतंकवादी हमला केवल एक देश या समुदाय पर हमला नहीं था, बल्कि यह आधुनिक विश्व के लिए एक खौफनाक चेतावनी है कि जेहादी आतंकवाद किसी भौगोलिक सीमा को नहीं मानता। ह नुक्का पर्व के अवसर पर जब यहू‌दो परिवार उत्सव और आस्था के साथ समुद्र तट पर एकत्रित थे, तभी उन पर सुनियोजित ढंग से हमला किया गया। हमलावरों की पहचान सामने आने के बाद यह स्पष्ट हो गया है कि वे कट्टरपंथी इस्लामी विचारधारा से प्रेरित थे।

यह घटना इस बात का प्रमाण है कि धार्मिक घृणा और वैश्विक कट्टरपंथ किस दत्तक मानवता के खिलाफ खड़ा हो चुका है। ऑस्ट्रेलियाई सरकार ने इस हमले को आतंकवादी कृत्य घोषित किया, पर उस पर यह आरोप भी लगे कि उसने पहले से सक्रिय चरमपंथी इस्लामी गुटों को हल्के फंडिंग और वैचारिक समर्थन देने वाले में लिया। यह हमला गाजा में हमास और इजरायल के बीच चले लंबे संघर्ष की प्रतिक्रिया के रूप में भी देखा जा रहा है, जिससे साफ होता है कि मध्य-पूर्व की आग अब पश्चिमी देशों की सड़कों तक पहुंच चुकी है। दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण तथ्य यह है कि वैश्विक समुदाय आज भी आतंकवाद की एक सर्वमान्य परिभाषा तय नहीं कर पाया है और इससे भी अधिक चिंताजनक बात यह है कि आतंकवादी संगठनों को संरक्षण, देशों के खिलाफ निर्णायक कार्रवाई नहीं की जाती। ऐसे देशों में पाकिस्तान का नाम बार-बार सामने आता है, जहां आतंकवाद को कभी ‘रणनीतिक संपत्ति’, तो कभी ‘राजनीतिक हथियार’ के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता रहा है। आतंकवाद की सबसे खतरनाक सच्चाई यह है कि इसके सहयोगी केवल जंगलों या सीमापार ठिकानों में छिपे नहीं होते, बल्कि समाज के भीतर बैठे रसूखदार लोग, धनदाता, वैचारिक समर्थक और राजनीतिक संरक्षक भी होते हैं। केवल हमलों की निंदा करने से आतंकवाद नहीं रुक सकता। इसके लिए विश्व समुदाय को दिखावटी नैतिकता से बाहर निकलकर ठोस इच्छाराक्ति दिखानी होगी, आतंक को पालने वाले देशों को अलग-थलग करना होगा और उनके खिलाफ वास्तविक आर्थिक व कूटनीतिक कार्रवाई करनी होगी। इतना ही नहीं, जनता को भी सजग रहने की जरूरत है, क्योंकि कट्टरपंथ की पहली पहचान अक्सर आसपास के व्यवहार, भाषा और सोच में दिखाई देती है। जब तक आतंकवाद के समर्थकों, संरक्षकों और विचारधारात्मक पोषकों को चिह्नित करके कुचला नहीं जाएगा, तब तक ऑस्ट्रेलिया जैसी घटनाएं मानवता को शर्मसार करती रहेंगी।

The identity of the attackers, once revealed, made it clear that they were inspired by radical Islamic ideology.

This incident is proof of how religious hatred and global extremism have become a threat to humanity. The Australian government declared the attack a terrorist act, but it has also been accused of taking a lenient approach towards extremist Islamic groups that receive funding and ideological support. This attack is also being seen as a reaction to the prolonged conflict between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, demonstrating that the flames of the Middle East conflict have now reached the streets of Western countries. The unfortunate truth is that the global community has still not been able to agree on a universally accepted definition of terrorism, and even more concerning is the fact that no decisive action is taken against countries that harbor terrorist organizations. Pakistan’s name frequently comes up in this context, where terrorism has been used as a “strategic asset” and a “political weapon.” The most dangerous reality of terrorism is that its collaborators are not only hiding in jungles or across borders, but also include influential people within society, financiers, ideological supporters, and political patrons. Simply condemning attacks will not stop terrorism. The global community needs to move beyond superficial morality and demonstrate concrete political will, isolate countries that harbor terrorism, and take real economic and diplomatic action against them. Furthermore, the public also needs to be vigilant, as the first signs of radicalization are often visible in the behavior, language, and thinking of those around us. Until the supporters, protectors, and ideological sponsors of terrorism are identified and crushed, incidents like the one in Australia will continue to shame humanity.
