शारदीय नवरात्र 22 सितंबर से आरंभ हो रहे हैं। इस नवरात्र देवी दुर्गा का आगमन हाथी पर और प्रस्थान मनुष्य के कंधे पर हो रहा है। मां का आगमन और प्रस्थान दोनों ही इस बार बहुत शुभ हैं।
हाथी पर मां दुर्गा का आगमन सुख-समृद्धि, शांति और उन्नति का प्रतीक माना जाता है। व्यापार में वृद्धि होने के साथ-साथ यह पड़ोसी 4916 देशों के साथ अच्छे संबंधों को भी दर्शाता है। इस बार शारदीय नवरात्र दस दिन के हैं यानी एक नवरात्र बढ़ रहा है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि नवरात्र बढ़ते अच्छे, श्राद्ध घटते अच्छे।
देवी भागवतं महापुराण के अनुसार मां दुर्गा का वाहन शेर है, लेकिन देवी हर वर्ष नवरात्र में अलग-अलग वाहनों पर सवार होकर पृथ्वी पर आती हैं। नवरात्र में देवी किस वाहन पर सवार होकर आएंगी, इसके दिन तय हैं। भागवत महापुराण में इस संबंध में एक श्लोक है-हैं। श्रीमद्देवी भागव

धुव्रम् ।। रविवार या सोमवार के दिन कलश की स्थापना होने पर देवी दुर्गा हाथी पर सवार रहोकर होकर आती हैं। देवी भागवत महापुराण के अनुसार,
मां दुर्गा का हाथी पर सवार होकर आना सुख-शांति और संपन्नता का कारक माना जाता है। यह अच्छी फसल, बारिश और धन-धान्य का संकेत माना जाता है। यह आर्थिक तरक्की और खुशहाली का प्रतीक है। देवी का हाथी पर सवार होकर आना शुभ होता है। साथ ही मनुष्य को मेहनत का फल और मां की कृपा प्राप्त होती है।

वृहस्पतिवार या शुक्रवार के दिन नवरात्र प्रारंभ हो, तो देवी पालकी में बैठकर आती हैं। यह अशुभता का प्रतीक है। इससे महामारी, प्राकृतिक आपदा, उपद्रव, दंगे और जन-हानि इसी प्रकार बुधवार के दिन नवरात्र की शुरुआत हो, तो देवी दुर्गा नाव पर सवार होकर आती हैं। देवी का नाव पर आगमन हर प्रकार से शुभ होता है। भरपूर बारिश और अच्छी फसल होती है। कष्ट दूर होने के साथ-साथ सभी मनोकामनाएं पूरी होती हैं।
यह स्वाभाविक है कि जब देवी का आगमन होगा, तो उनकी विदाई भी होगी। माता की विदाई दशमी को होती है। उस दिन रविवार या सोमवार हो तो देवी भैंसे पर सवार होकर जाती हैं। इसका प्रभाव राष्ट्र के लिए अशुभ होता है। यह रोग और शोककारक स्थितियां बनाता है। शनिवार या मंगलवार के दिन दशमी होने पर देवी की सवारी मुर्गा होती है। इसके अशुभ फल होते हैं। इससे दुखों और कष्टों में वृद्धि होती है।
अगर विदाई बुधवार या शुक्रवार के दिन हो तो तो देवी देवी दुर्गा दुर्गा हाथी हाथी पर पर सवार होकर जाती है। शुभयह दुर्गा माना जाता है। इसका अर्थ है कि आपको आपके अच्छे कार्यों का फल मिलेगा। बृहस्पतिवार के दिन दशमी हो तो देवी मनुष्य के कंधे पर सवार होकर जाती है। यह शुभ फलदायक होती है। इससे देश में चारों तरफ सुख-शांति और संपन्नता होती है।

Its effect is inauspicious for the nation. It creates diseases and mourning situations. If Dashami falls on Saturday or Tuesday, the Goddess rides a rooster. It has inauspicious results. It increases sorrows and sufferings.
If the farewell falls on Wednesday or Friday, then Goddess Durga goes riding on an elephant. This is considered auspicious. It means that you will get the fruits of your good deeds. If Dashami falls on Thursday, then the Goddess goes riding on a human shoulder. This is auspicious. This brings happiness, peace and prosperity all around the country.
