चमत्कार नहीं साधना को पूजें
संत साधना का आश्रय लेना परम आवश्यक है। इस साधना का अभ्यास करने से ज्यों-ज्यों हमारे अंदर गुणों का विकास होगा, त्यों-त्यों हम संत और संत कृपा के अधिकारी होंगे।
अधिकांश सच्चे संत प्रायः अपने को लोगों में प्रकट नहीं करके जगत में विचरण करते हैं। संत परंपरा के प्रसिद्ध संत आज भी हैं। वे हम लोगों के बीच में आते भी हैं; पर हम उन्हें पहचान नहीं पाते।
भिन्न-भिन्न स्तरों पर भगवान का कार्य करनेवाले ऐसे हजारों संत पृथ्वी पर हैं, जो लोकचक्षु से परे रहकर अपना महत कार्य कर रहे हैं। कहते हैं कि संत जगत में सब कार्य नियमपूर्वक होते हैं।
संतों के सर्वोपरि संचालक परम सद्गुरु भगवान शंकर हैं, जो रुद्ररूप में जगत का संहार और सुंदर शिवरूप में सबका सदा कल्याण करते हैं। उनकी अधीनता में अनेक सिद्ध-महात्मा संत पुरुष निरंतर ईश्वरीय लीला में सहायक होकर भगवान की आज्ञानुसार कार्य कर रहे हैं। इन संतों को कुछ लेना नहीं है। पूजा नहीं करवानी है। ख्याति और प्रशंसा से कोई सरोकार नहीं है। लोगों का प्रशंसा पात्र न होने से इनका कोई नुकसान नहीं होता। फिर ये लोगों के सामने प्रकट होकर क्यों अपना परिचय दें। अधिकारी पुरुष को इनमें से किन्हीं किन्हीं के दर्शन आज भी होते हैं। कहा जाता है कि देवर्षि नारद, सनकादि, भगवान दत्तात्रेय, शुकदेव आदि प्राचीन और शंकराचार्य, रामानुजाचार्य, गोरखनाथ, भर्तृहरि, कबीर, नानक, तुलसीदास, ज्ञानदेव आदि से लेकर रामकृष्ण परमहंस जैसे अनेक संतों के दर्शन आज भी उनके अंतरंग भक्तों को होते हैं।
इन संतों के अलावा ऐसे अनेक अज्ञात संत हैं, जो विविध स्थानों में विविध कार्य करते हुए हम लोगों के बीच रह रहे हैं, जो अज्ञात रूप से इस मंडल की दृष्टि और शासन सूत्र में बंधे रहने पर भी विभिन्न स्थानों में अप्रकट रूप से साधना कर हैं। हमें यह नहीं समझना चाहिए कि जितने और जो हम लोगों की जानकारी में हैं, वे ही और उतने ही संत हैं। रहे संतों के लिए यह कोई आवश्यक बात नहीं है कि वे संसार में प्रसिद्ध ही हों। उनमें प्रसिद्ध तो बहुत थोड़े ही होते हैं और साथ ही यह भी याद रखना चाहिए कि संत की प्रसिद्धि पाए हुए अनेक पुरुष वस्तुतः संत होते भी नहीं हैं। उनका केवल संत का ऊपरी बाना मात्र होता है।
मन असंत तथा विषयी ही होता है। ऐसे लोगों से संसार की बहुत बुराई होती है। ये धर्म-संचालन के कार्य में अयोग्य होते हुए भी जब उसमें अनधिकार प्रवेश कर बैठते हैं, तब अपने हृदय के विकारों और व्याधियों को ही जगत में फैलाते हैं और अपने संपर्क में आनेवाले नर-नारियों के जीवन को पापमय, दुखी और अशांतिपूर्ण ही बनाते हैं।
सच्चे संत अधिकांश अप्रकट ही रहते हैं। उनकी कोई ख्याति या प्रसिद्धि नहीं होती। ऐसे सच्चे संतों को पाने और उन्हें पहचानने के लिए संत साधना का आश्रय लेना परम आवश्यक है।
संतोचित साधना का अभ्यास करने से ज्यों-ज्यों हमारे अंदर उन गुणों का विकास होगा, त्यों-त्यों हम संत और संत कृपा के अधिकारी होंगे। कठिनता तो यह है कि हम संतों के चमत्कारों को ही पूजते हैं, उनकी साधना को नहीं, जिसके बिना हम यथार्थ लाभ से वंचित ही रह जाते हैं।
It is absolutely essential to embrace the practice of saintly practices. As we cultivate virtues through this practice, we will become worthy of sainthood and the grace of saints.
Most true saints often wander the world without revealing themselves to others. Renowned saints of the saintly tradition exist even today. They do come among us, but we fail to recognize them.
Thousands of saints on earth perform God’s work at various levels, performing their significant tasks beyond the public eye. It is said that all actions in the saintly world are performed according to rules.
The supreme guide of saints is the Supreme Sadguru, Lord Shankar, who, in the form of Rudra, destroys the world and, in the form of the beautiful Shiva, always brings welfare to all. Under his guidance, numerous accomplished saints are constantly working as per God’s command, assisting in the divine play. These saints do not require anything. They do not require worship. Fame and praise are of no concern to them. They suffer no harm if they are not worthy of public praise. So why should they appear and introduce themselves to the public? Authoritative individuals can still see some of these saints today. It is said that ancient saints like Devarshi Narada, Sanakadi, Lord Dattatreya, Shukdev, and many others, from Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Gorakhnath, Bhartrihari, Kabir, Nanak, Tulsidas, Dnyaneshwar, and Ramakrishna Paramhansa, can still be seen by their intimate devotees.
Besides these saints, there are numerous unknown saints who live among us, performing various tasks in various places. They are anonymously practicing spiritual practice in various places, even while being bound by the vision and governance of this Mandala. We should not assume that only those who are known to us are truly saints. It is not necessary for saints to be worldly famous. Very few of them are famous, and it should also be remembered that many men who achieve the reputation of being saints are not actually saints at all. They merely have the superficial appearance of being saints.
The mind is unspiritual and sensual. Such people cause much harm to the world. Despite being unfit for the work of propagating religion, when they enter it without authorization, they spread the vices and diseases of their hearts throughout the world, making the lives of the men and women they come in contact with sinful, unhappy, and restless.
True saints mostly remain inconspicuous. They have no fame or reputation. To find and recognize such true saints, it is absolutely necessary to resort to saintly practice.
As we develop the qualities of a saint through the practice of saintly practice, we will become worthy of saintly grace and saintly grace. The difficulty is that we worship only the miracles of the saints, not their spiritual practice, without which we remain deprived of the real benefits.
