मनसा वाचा कर्मणा उलझन से परे
जीवन में निर्णय की आवश्यकता कब पड़ती है? यह आवश्यकता तभी होती है, जब कोई उलझन हो। जब कोई उलझन ही नहीं, तो निर्णय की भी आवश्यकता नहीं। यदि तुम्हारी मेज पर लकड़ी का कोई टुकड़ा पड़ा हो और एक मिठाई रखी हो, तो क्या तुम निर्णय करोगे कि तुम्हें क्या खाना है? निर्णय चुनाव के लिए ही होता है और चुनाव हमेशा परेशानी लाता है। इसीलिए, सभी निर्णयकर्ता परेशान रहते हैं। जब तुम उलझन में रहते हो, तब वहां स्वतंत्रता नहीं होती।
याद रखो, नाटकीयता के अभाव में कृत्य सहज हो जाते हैं। तुम्हारे भीतर एक नायक भी है और एक दर्शक भी। नायक या तो असमंजस में है या निश्चयपूर्ण, लेकिन दर्शक मुस्कराता है, क्योंकि वह जानता है कि कृत्य स्वतः होते हैं।
जितने अधिक तुम निर्णय लेते हो, उतने ही अधिक उलझते जाते हो; इसी कारण तुम सुख और दुख के बीच झूलते हो। इसके विपरीत जितना तुममें साक्षी भाव बढ़ता जाता है, उतने ही अधिक तुम विनोदप्रिय व चंचल होते हो और घटनाक्रमों से अप्रभावित रहते हो। विश्वास, निष्ठा, प्रेम और उल्लास, सभी तुममें और तुम्हारे चारों ओर अभिव्यक्त होते हैं।
तुम पूछते हो कि तुम यहां किसलिए हो? मैं तुमसे कहता हूं कि पता लगाओ कि तुम यहां किसलिए नहीं हो। तुम यहां आरोप लगाने के लिए नहीं हो, तुम यहां रोने के लिए नहीं हो, तुम यहां सिर्फ सोते रहने के लिए नहीं हो, तुम यहां दिखावा करने के लिए नहीं हो, तुम यहां झगड़ते रहने के लिए नहीं हो, तुम यहां दुखी होने के लिए नहीं हो, तुम यहां क्रोधित होने के लिए नहीं हो, तुम यहां चिंता करने के लिए नहीं हो। इसलिए भ्रम में मत पड़ो।
