Blessed, blessed is the beloved Satguru, who has removed all our sorrows.
Your glory is sung by Shri Narada, Sharada, and Shesha.
The boat was tossing in the turbulent waters, but You guided it safely across.
You showed mercy on Your devotees, and revealed a secret name.
You imparted the knowledge of divine light, giving such a profound teaching.
The four Vedas, six Shastras, and eighteen Puranas, praise You day and night.
Even avatars like Rama and Krishna received instruction from the Guru.
They chanted the Name and performed worship, as did Ganesha, the son of Gauri.
The eternal Name is distinct from the sixteen vowels and thirty-six consonants.
By chanting the Name, Ratnakar, the sinner, became a sage.
They constantly meditate and contemplate, as does Mahesh, the consort of Girija.
“Kadamsingh” says, with a mind full of devotion, many souls have suffered hardships.
Without the Satguru, true knowledge cannot be attained, as all the sages and ascetics understood.
They attained liberation from the web of illusion, like Garuda, the vehicle of Vishnu.
