सावधान सावधान

शहरों या कस्बों में हम सभी को स्थिति से अवगत होना चाहिए।
एक बार लॉकडाउन आंशिक रूप से / पूरी तरह से उठा लिया जाता है।

हमें यातायात नियमों का पालन करने के लिए जिम्मेदार नागरिक होने की आवश्यकता है और अपने आप को ,अपने परिवार और अपने सामान को बचाने में सक्रिय रहें।

जितने भी इन दिनों लाँकडाउन रहेगा , उन सभी दिनों में ज्यादा कमाई नहीं थी, इसलिए नौकरी छूटने / व्यापार पर प्रभाव के कारण असामाजिक घटनाओं में अचानक उछाल आ सकता है।

1. लोगों को बहुत सावधान रहना होगा। इसमें घर के लोग, बच्चे, स्कूल और कॉलेज जाने वाले लड़के / लड़कियां, कामकाजी महिला/पुरुष शामिल हैं।
2. इस दौरान हो सके तो महंगी घड़ियाँ न पहनें।
3. महंगे चेन, चूड़ियां, ईयर रिंग्स न पहनें । अपने हैंड बैग्स के साथ सावधानी बरते ।
4. पुरुष हाई एंड वॉच, महंगे कंगन और चेन पहनने से परहेज कर सकते हैं।
5. अपने मोबाइल फोन का ज्यादा इस्तेमाल जनता(सार्वजनिक) में न करें। सार्वजनिक रूप से मोबाइल का उपयोग कम से कम करने की कोशिश करें।
6. किसी भी अजनबी को हो सके तो वाहन में लिफ्ट न दे।
7. आवश्यकता से अधिक धन लेकर साथ भ्रमण पर न जाएं।
8. अपने क्रेडिट और डेबिट कार्ड को सुरक्षित रखें।
9. अपने बड़ों, पत्नी और बच्चों के कल्याण के बारे में जानने के लिए समय-समय पर घर पर फोन करते रहें।
10. घर के बड़ों और लोगों को निर्देश दें कि दरवाजे की घंटी बजाते समय मुख्य दरवाजे से सुरक्षित दूरी बनाए रखें, यदि संभव हो तो ग्रिल गेट को किसी पार्सल या पत्र प्राप्त करने के लिए ग्रिल के करीब न जाने दें।
11. बच्चों को जितना हो सके समय पर घर जल्दी लौटने की हिदायत दें।
12. घर तक पहुँचने के लिए किसी भी एकांत या छोटी शॉर्टकट वाली सड़कों का प्रयोग न करें , कोशिश यही करें कि अधिकतम मुख्य सड़कों का उपयोग करें।
13. जब आप बाहर होते हैं तो अपने आसपास के संघ्दित लोगों पर नजर रखें।
14. हमेशा हाथ में एक आपातकालीन नंबर होना चाहिए।
15. लोगों से सुरक्षित दूरी बनाए रखें।
16. पब्लिक ज्यादातर मास्क पहेनेगी। पहचानना मुश्किल होगा।

17. जो कैब सेवाओं का उपयोग करते हैं, कृपया अपनी यात्रा का विवरण अपने माता-पिता, भाई-बहन, रिश्तेदारों, दोस्तों या अभिभावकों के साथ साझा करें।
18. सरकारी परिवहन प्रणाली की कोशिश करें और उसका उपयोग करें।
19. भीड़ वाली बसों से बचें।
20. अपने दैनिक सैर के लिए जाते समय उजाले में लगभग सुबह 6.00 बजे के आसपास जाएं, शाम को अधिकतम 8:00 बजे तक मुख्य सड़कों का उपयोग करें। खाली सड़कों से बचें।
20. मॉल, समुद्र तट और पार्कों में ज्यादा समय न बिताएं।
21. अगर बच्चों को ट्यूशन क्लासेस अटेंड करना है तो बड़ों को उन्हें लाने एवं छोडने की जिम्मेदारी दें।
22. अपने वाहनों में कोई कीमती सामान न छोड़ें।

कम से कम 3 महीने या समग्र स्थिति में सुधार होने तक इसका पालन करना होगा।

Once upon a time, a clever man sold his well to a farmer. The next day, when the farmer went to the well to fetch some water, the man said that he only sold the well and not its water. The farmer did not know what to do, and with a sad heart, he went to Akbar’s court. Birbal was told to take care of the case. The following day, the man who sold the well along with the farmer was called to the court. The clever man made the same statement – he had sold his well, not the water in it. On learning this, Birbal said, “My friend, in that case, you either remove your water from the well or pay tax for your water because it is the farmer’s well.” The man realised his mistake and asked for forgiveness as he felt helpless and outwitted.

Moral
If you cheat, you will pay for your deeds.

The Pot of Wit (Akbar and Birbal)

Once upon a time, king Akbar got so mad at Birbal that he told Birbal to leave the kingdom and go away. Heartbroken, Birbal left the kingdom and took refuge at a farmer’s house in a nearby village. Birbal spent his days working at the farm. As time passed, King Akbar started missing his favourite courtier. One day, Akbar decided to send across his royal guards to find Birbal. The guards looked for Birbal in all directions, but all their efforts went to waste. Akbar thought of a trick to find Birbal – he made an announcement that whoever got him a pot full of wit would be given a pot filled with diamonds. The news reached all the nearby villages, and to Birbal as well. The villagers held a meeting to decide how to solve the king’s mystery. Birbal offered to help, stating that he needs a month’s time. Birbal took a pot and put a small watermelon in it without cutting it from its vines. After a month, the watermelon grew up to the size of the pot. This pot was sent to the King, and he was told that the wit should only be removed without breaking the pot. Akbar knew that this could be no one else but Birbal, and he went to bring Birbal back to his court.

Haste makes waste, think hard because there is a solution to every problem

The tales of Birbal’s unparalleled wit and wisdom had reached faraway lands. Once a scholar visited Akbar’s court with the thought of challenging Birbal’s intelligence. The scholar told the king that he is the smartest and even Birbal would not be able to answer his questions. Akbar called Birbal to the court and told him what the scholar claimed. Birbal accepted the challenge that the scholar had posed for him. The scholar asked Birbal, “Do you want to answer a hundred easy questions or one difficult question?” Birbal said that he wanted to answer the difficult one. The scholar said, “Tell me Birbal, what came first, the chicken or the egg?” Birbal thought for a while and said, “Chicken came first”. The scholar mocked Birbal and said, “How can you be sure?” Birbal immediately replied, “I had only promised to answer one question, and therefore, I will not reply”. The scholar felt ashamed of his claim and left with a heavy heart.

Moral
Presence of mind helps solve even the trickiest of problems.

Once King Akbar thought of playing a trick on his favourite minister, Birbal. He confided in all other ministers and shared his plan with them. As per the plan, all the ministers had to carry an egg each the following day, hidden inside their robes. The next day, Akbar told his courtiers that he had a dream – according to it, if the ministers fetch an egg each from the royal pond, it will prove their loyalty towards him. After narrating his dream, Akbar asked all his ministers to do the same and show him their loyalty. As planned, all the ministers pretended to look for the eggs, and within no time all of them returned an egg each that was already hidden inside their robes. Birbal kept looking for the egg, but couldn’t find any. When Birbal reached empty-handed, everyone sneered at him, and they were smiling at each other. Birbal could gauge the entire scenario and went up to the king and made the loud rooster-sounds. The King was perplexed and asked Birbal why he did so, upon which Birbal replied, “My King, I am not a hen, and therefore, I could not fetch you any eggs; but I am a rooster, and this is what I can do best”. Listening to this, everyone burst into a hearty laugh.

Moral :
Self-confidence helps in dealing with difficult situations.

Once Birbal was sent as an ambassador to another kingdom. The King of that kingdom had also heard stories about Birbal’s sharp intellect and wanted to test the same. The King made all his ministers dress up like him, and they all sat in a line to test Birbal. When Birbal entered the courtroom, he was amazed to see everyone dressed in the same clothes and sitting on a similar kind of throne. Perplexed, Birbal took a moment to observe everyone and then went up to one of them and bowed in front of him. It was the King himself, who then was surprised beyond words. He stood up and hugged Birbal and also asked him how he could guess so. Birbal smiled and answered, “My lord, the kind of confidence you exuded, no one else did, and they also kept looking at you for approval”. The King felt amused and praised Birbal for his unmatched intellect and presence of mind.

Moral :
Intelligent people can comprehend a great deal through observation.

Just like any other day in King Akbar’s court, once Akbar asked Birbal, “My dear Birbal if I tell you to choose between justice and a gold coin, what will you choose?” Without taking long to answer, Birbal replied, “My lord, I will choose a gold coin, without a doubt”. Everyone including king Akbar was aghast at Birbal’s instant reply and thought that this time Birbal had fumbled for once. King Akbar said, “I am very disappointed in you. Why would you choose something of lesser value like a gold coin over something as valuable as justice?” Birbal replied with a grin on his face, “My kind King, there is no dearth of justice because there is justice everywhere in your kingdom. I felt no need to ask something that I have in abundance but my lord, I surely fall short of money, and a gold coin would be nice”. Listening to this reply, Akbar was speechless, but he had a big smile on his face. He felt overjoyed with the reply and rewarded Birbal with 100 gold coins.

Moral :
One should choose one’s words wisely.

Once, two brothers, Ram and Sham, were fighting over the ownership of a Mango Tree. Ram said the Mango tree was his; while Sham said he owned it. Unable to find a way out, they decided to ask Birbal for help. Birbal analysed the situation and told the brothers to remove all the mangoes, share them between the two brothers, then cut the tree in two equal halves. Upon hearing Birbal, Ram noded, while Sham pled not to cut the tree for he had nurtured it for three whole years. Birbal found who the real owner of the tree was. He said, “The tree belongs to Sham because the very thought of cutting it down troubled him. Someone who has cared for it for three years won’t cut it down immediately.”

Moral :
True ownership comes with responsibilities.

सबकी सोच एक जैसी – अकबर और बीरबल की कहानियाँ!

दरबार की कार्यवाही चल रही थी। सभी दरबारी एक ऐसे प्रश्न पर विचार कर रहे थे जो राज-काज चलाने की दृष्टि से बेहद अहम न था। सभी एक-एक कर अपनी राय दे रहे थे।

बादशाह दरबार में बैठे यह महसूस कर रहे थे कि सबकी राय अलग है। उन्हें आश्चर्य हुआ कि सभी एक जैसे क्यों नहीं सोचते!

तब बादशाह अकबर ने बीरबल से पूछा, ‘क्या तुम बता सकते हो कि लोगों की राय आपस में मिलती क्यों नहीं? सब अलग-अलग क्यों सोचते हैं?’
‘हमेशा ऐसा नहीं होता, बादशाह सलामत!’ बीरबल बोला, ‘कुछ समस्याएं ऐसी होती हैं जिन पर सभी के विचार समान होते हैं।’ इसके बाद कुछ और काम निपटा कर दरबार की कार्यवाही समाप्त हो गई। सभी अपने-अपने घरों को लौट चले।

उसी शाम जब बीरबल और बादशाह अकबर बाग में टहल रहे थे, तो बादशाह ने फिर वही राग छेड़ दिया और बीरबल से बहस करने लगे।

तब बीरबल बाग के ही एक कोने की ओर उंगली से संकेत करता हुआ बोला, ‘वहां उस पेड़ के निकट एक कुंआ है। वहां चलिए, मैं कोशिश करता हूं कि आपको समझा सकूं कि जब कोई समस्या जनता से जुड़ी हो तो सभी एक जैसा ही सोचते हैं।

मेरे कहने का मतलब यह है कि बहुत-सी ऐसी बातें हैं जिनको लेकर लोगों के विचार एक जैसे होते हैं।’

बादशाह अकबर ने कुछ देर कुंए की ओर घूरा, फिर बोले, ‘लेकिन मैं कुछ समझा नहीं, तुम्हारे समझाने का ढंग कुछ अजीब-सा है।’ बादशाह जबकि जानते थे कि बीरबल अपनी बात सिद्ध करने के लिए ऐसे ही प्रयोग करता रहता है।

‘सब समझ जाएंगे हुजूर!’

बीरबल बोला, ‘आप शाही फरमान जारी कराएं कि नगर के हर घर से एक लोटा दूध लाकर बाग में स्थित इस कुंए में डाला जाए। दिन पूर्णमासी का होगा। हमारा नगर बहुत बड़ा है, यदि हर घर से एक लोटा दूध इस कुएं में पड़ेगा तो यह दूध से भर जाएगा।’

बीरबल की यह बात सुन बादशाह अकबर ठहाका लगाकर हंस पड़े। फिर भी उन्होंने बीरबल के कहेनुसार फरमान जारी कर दिया।

शहर भर में मुनादी करवा दी गई कि आने वाली पूर्णमासी के दिन हर घर से एक लोटा दूध लाकर शाही बाग के कुंए में डाला जाए। जो ऐसा नहीं करेगा उसे सजा मिलेगी।

पूर्णमासी के दिन बाग के बाहर लोगों की कतार लग गई। इस बात का विशेष ध्यान रखा जा रहा था कि हर घर से कोई न कोई वहां जरूर आए। सभी के हाथों में भरे हुए पात्र (बरतन) दिखाई दे रहे थे।

बादशाह अकबर और बीरबल दूर बैठे यह सब देख रहे थे और एक-दूसरे को देख मुस्करा रहे थे। सांझ ढलने से पहले कुंए में दूध डालने का काम पूरा हो गया। हर घर से दूध लाकर कुंए में डाला गया था।

जब सभी वहां से चले गए तो बादशाह अकबर व बीरबल ने कुंए के निकट जाकर अंदर झांका। कुंआ मुंडेर तक भरा हुआ था। लेकिन यह देख बादशाह अकबर को बेहद हैरानी हुई कि कुंए में दूध नहीं पानी भरा हुआ था। दूध का तो कहीं नामोनिशान तक न था।

हैरानी भरी निगाहों से बादशाह अकबर ने बीरबल की ओर देखते हुए पूछा, ‘ऐसा क्यों हुआ? शाही फरमान तो कुंए में दूध डालने का जारी हुआ था, यह पानी कहां से आया? लोगों ने दूध क्यों नहीं डाला?’

बीरबल एक जोरदार ठहाका लगाता हुआ बोला, ‘यही तो मैं सिद्ध करना चाहता था हुजूर! मैंने कहा था आपसे कि बहुत-सी ऐसी बातें होती हैं जिस पर लोग एक जैसा सोचते हैं, और यह भी एक ऐसा ही मौका था। लोग कीमती दूध बरबाद करने को तैयार न थे। वे जानते थे कि कुंए में दूध डालना व्यर्थ है। इससे उन्हें कुछ मिलने वाला नहीं था।

इसलिए यह सोचकर कि किसी को क्या पता चलेगा, सभी पानी से भरे बरतन ले आए और कुंए में उड़ेल दिए। नतीजा…दूध के बजाय पानी से भर गया कुंआ।’

बीरबल की यह चतुराई देख बादशाह अकबर ने उसकी पीठ थपथपाई।

बीरबल ने सिद्ध कर दिखाया था कि कभी-कभी लोग एक जैसा भी सोचते हैं।

निमित्त होने का घमंड कैसा ??

आज हमने भंडारे में भोजन करवाया। आज हमने ये बांटा, आज हमने वो दान किया…
.
हम अक्सर ऐसा कहते और मानते हैं। इसी से सम्बंधित एक अविस्मरणीय कथा पढ़िए

एक लकड़हारा रात-दिन लकड़ियां काटता, मगर कठोर परिश्रम के बावजूद उसे आधा पेट भोजन ही मिल पाता था।
.
एक दिन उसकी मुलाकात एक साधु से हुई। लकड़हारे ने साधु से कहा कि जब भी आपकी प्रभु से मुलाकात हो जाए, मेरी एक फरियाद उनके सामने रखना और मेरे कष्ट का कारण पूछना।
.
कुछ दिनों बाद उसे वह साधु फिर मिला।
लकड़हारे ने उसे अपनी फरियाद की याद दिलाई तो साधु ने कहा कि- “प्रभु ने बताया हैं कि लकड़हारे की आयु 60 वर्ष हैं और उसके भाग्य में पूरे जीवन के लिए सिर्फ पाँच बोरी अनाज हैं। इसलिए प्रभु उसे थोड़ा अनाज ही देते हैं ताकि वह 60 वर्ष तक जीवित रह सके।”

समय बीता। साधु उस लकड़हारे को फिर मिला तो लकड़हारे ने कहा—
“ऋषिवर…!! अब जब भी आपकी प्रभु से बात हो तो मेरी यह फरियाद उन तक पहुँचा देना कि वह मेरे जीवन का सारा अनाज एक साथ दे दें, ताकि कम से कम एक दिन तो मैं भरपेट भोजन कर सकूं।”
.
अगले दिन साधु ने कुछ ऐसा किया कि लकड़हारे के घर ढ़ेर सारा अनाज पहुँच गया।
.
लकड़हारे ने समझा कि प्रभु ने उसकी फरियाद कबूल कर उसे उसका सारा हिस्सा भेज दिया हैं।
उसने बिना कल की चिंता किए, सारे अनाज का भोजन बनाकर फकीरों और भूखों को खिला दिया और खुद भी भरपेट खाया।
.
लेकिन अगली सुबह उठने पर उसने देखा कि उतना ही अनाज उसके घर फिर पहुंच गया हैं। उसने फिर गरीबों को खिला दिया। फिर उसका भंडार भर गया।
यह सिलसिला रोज-रोज चल पड़ा और लकड़हारा लकड़ियां काटने की जगह गरीबों को खाना खिलाने में व्यस्त रहने लगा।
.
कुछ दिन बाद वह साधु फिर लकड़हारे को मिला तो लकड़हारे ने कहा—“ऋषिवर ! आप तो कहते थे कि मेरे जीवन में सिर्फ पाँच बोरी अनाज हैं, लेकिन अब तो हर दिन मेरे घर पाँच बोरी अनाज आ जाता हैं।”
.
साधु ने समझाया, “तुमने अपने जीवन की परवाह ना करते हुए अपने हिस्से का अनाज गरीब व भूखों को खिला दिया।
इसीलिए प्रभु अब उन गरीबों के हिस्से का अनाज तुम्हें दे रहे हैं।”
.
कथासार- किसी को भी कुछ भी देने की शक्ति हम में है ही नहीं, हम देते वक्त ये सोचते हैं, की जिसको कुछ दिया तो ये मैंने दिया !
दान, वस्तु, ज्ञान, यहाँ तक की अपने बच्चों को भी कुछ देते दिलाते हैं, तो कहते हैं मैंने दिलाया ।
वास्तविकता ये है कि वो उनका अपना है आप को सिर्फ परमात्मा ने निमित्त मात्र बनाया हैं। ताकी उन तक उनकी जरूरते पहुचाने के लिये। तो निमित्त होने का घमंड कैसा ??
.
दान किए से जाए दुःख, दूर होएं सब पाप।।
नाथ आकर द्वार पे, दूर करें संताप।।
