The Srimad Bhagavad Gita speaks of equanimity. “Sukhe dukh same kritva labha labhau jayajayau”

The Srimad Bhagavad Gita speaks of equanimity. “Sukhe dukh same kritva labha labhau jayajayau” – meaning, one should approach happiness and sorrow, loss and gain, victory and defeat with equal respect and continue to perform one’s actions. Only those who surrender to God and maintain equanimity in life are successful. Those who possess this equanimity, as enunciated in the Gita, experience a celebration in their life every moment.

If you live life with proper spiritual practice, with a vision of the self, life is a celebration. If you realize it, every moment is a moment of joy for everyone. To enjoy this celebration, spiritual knowledge is essential. Acquiring this knowledge requires a guru. If you find a worthy guru, your life can become a celebration. You can choose anyone as your guru, or you can become your own guru by developing insight into knowledge.

A person faces struggle at every step in life. Struggle is sometimes caused by circumstances, sometimes by actions, and sometimes

by one’s own state of mind. Because of this, a person has to endure personal, familial, social, and economic struggles without any reason.

A person is surrounded by struggles from all sides. He strives to break free from these struggles, but sometimes he cannot. He often faces defeat in life, because success is not always achieved. He begins to break down from within, begins to disintegrate, and begins to accept failure as his fate. This is where he should strive to improve himself.

Humans are born to face struggles. Only when we overcome these struggles do we become capable citizens. Just as storms occur in the ocean, storms also occur in life. Those who are fully trained in patience, knowledge, and learning succeed in this stormy game of life. Others oscillate between the dilemmas of victory and defeat, honor and dishonor, hope and despair, and loss and gain. Don’t always hope for victory in life. Victory and defeat are two sides of the same coin. Both come and go. To pre-emptively grieve with the fear of future defeat or failure is an even greater failure.

To make life a celebration, a person needs perseverance, determination, and a vision for life. Self-vision provides self-confidence. When a person gains self-confidence, they celebrate every task as a celebration. When a person continues to offer every action to God without worrying about victory or defeat, they are sure to share success and fame.

If a person dwells on the thought of the impossible and the fear of defeat, they crumble with every failure. This state of mind is essential. We must also remember not to become intoxicated by the success of victory, like a drunken elephant.

lord Vishwakarma vs lord Vishnu

Lord Vishwakarma is the divine craftsman, the architect of the gods, and creator of many divine structures like the city of Dwarka and divine weapons such as the Sudarshana Chakra. Lord Vishnu is one of the supreme deities of the Hindu Trimurti, acting as the preserver of the universe, and the entire world is considered a manifestation of Vishnu. In essence, Vishwakarma creates, while Vishnu sustains and preserves the existence that is created.

Lord Vishwakarma

  • Role: The divine architect and craftsman (deva-silpi) of the gods (Devas).
  • Creations: Responsible for designing and building palaces, cities, chariots, and divine weapons, including the Sudarshana Chakra for Lord Vishnu and Dwarka for Lord Krishna.
  • Significance: Revered as a supreme creator and is often associated with the skill, technology, and structural aspect of creation, according to some Vedic traditions.
  • Origin: He is believed to be the son of the god Brahma or the Vasu Prabhas.

Lord Vishnu

  • Role: The preserver and sustainer of the universe, one of the three principal deities in the Trimurti.
  • Manifestation: The entire universe is considered a manifestation of Lord Vishnu.
  • Significance: Holds the position of a supreme god, with countless beings and all of existence as his creation.
  • Worship: Many Hindus (Vaishnavites) revere Vishnu as their supreme deity.

Key Differences

  • Nature of Creation: Vishwakarma creates the physical world and divine objects, while Vishnu embodies the principle of preservation and sustenance of that creation.
  • Hierarchy: Vishnu is often seen as a supreme deity, while Vishwakarma is the divine craftsman, a significant but secondary role within the cosmic order.
  • Cosmic Function: Vishwakarma is a builder and planner, whereas Vishnu is a cosmic manager and protector, ensuring that the created world endures.

Goddess arrival

Sharadiya Navratri is starting from 22nd September. This Navratri, Goddess Durga is arriving on an elephant and departing on a human shoulder. Both the arrival and departure of the mother are very auspicious this time.

The arrival of Maa Durga on an elephant is considered a symbol of happiness, prosperity, peace and progress. Along with the increase in trade, it also shows good relations with the neighboring 4916 countries. This time Sharadiya Navratri is of ten days, that is, one Navratri is increasing. It is believed that increasing Navratri is good, decreasing Shraddha is good.

According to Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran, the vehicle of Maa Durga is a lion, but the Goddess comes to earth every year in Navratri riding different vehicles. The days of which vehicle the Goddess will come on in Navratri are fixed. There is a verse in this regard in Bhagwat Mahapuran – Hain. Shrimaddevi Bhagav

Shashisurye Gajaaroodha, Shanibhoome Turangame. Gurushukra cha dolayam budhe nauka prakritita. Phalam Gajech Jalada Devi, Chhatrabhanga Turangame. Naukayaam sarva siddhisyaat dolayam maranam

Dhuvram. When the Kalash is installed on Sunday or Monday, Goddess Durga arrives riding an elephant. According to Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran,

Maa Durga’s arrival riding an elephant is considered to be a factor of happiness, peace and prosperity. It is considered to be a sign of good harvest, rain and wealth. It is a symbol of economic progress and prosperity. It is auspicious for the Goddess to arrive riding an elephant. Also, man gets the fruits of hard work and the blessings of the mother.

On this Navratri, Goddess Durga is arriving on an elephant and departing on a human shoulder. This time, both the arrival and departure of the mother are very auspicious. It is considered to be a symbol of happiness, prosperity, peace and progress.

When Navratri starts on Saturday or Tuesday, the vehicle of the Goddess is a horse. Maa Durga’s arrival on a horse is a symbol of change of power or war. It creates an unfavorable situation for the ruling party. It is auspicious for the opposition and inauspicious for the ruling party.

If Navratri starts on Thursday or Friday, the Goddess arrives sitting in a palanquin. It is a symbol of inauspiciousness. It causes epidemic, natural disaster, riot, and loss of life. Similarly, if Navratri starts on Wednesday, Goddess Durga arrives riding a boat. The arrival of the Goddess on a boat is auspicious in every way. There is abundant rain and good harvest. Along with the removal of sufferings, all wishes are fulfilled.

It is natural that when the Goddess arrives, her departure will also happen. The Mother’s departure takes place on Dashami. If that day is Sunday or Monday, the Goddess leaves riding a buffalo. Its effect is inauspicious for the nation. It creates diseases and mourning situations. If Dashami falls on Saturday or Tuesday, the Goddess rides a rooster. It has inauspicious results. It increases sorrows and sufferings.

If the farewell falls on Wednesday or Friday, then Goddess Durga goes riding on an elephant. This is considered auspicious. It means that you will get the fruits of your good deeds. If Dashami falls on Thursday, then the Goddess goes riding on a human shoulder. This is auspicious. This brings happiness, peace and prosperity all around the country.

What do naked female Naga Sadhus do during their periods?

Recently, a video of Naga female Sadhus came on social media, in which they are seen without clothes. At one place, it is seen that a female Naga Sadhu is roaming around without clothes with mud applied on the whole body.

Everyone on the road was staring at her. Then some female policemen catch her and forcibly make her wear clothes after taking a bath. At another place, it is seen that female Naga Sadhus are worshiping without clothes. Many people raised the question that what do these Naga female Sadhus do during their periods?

How do they live during their periods?

Let us tell you that female Naga Sadhus rarely come in front of people. Now Maha Kumbh is going to be held in Prayagraj, so they will also be seen in large numbers in it. Female Naga Sadhus do not remain naked. They all wear saffron colored clothes. That saffron cloth is unstitched, so they do not face any problem during their periods. They worship Lord Shiva from morning to evening. Male Naga Sadhus are allowed to remain naked in public places but women are not.

They have to remain celibate

When women become Naga Sadhus by taking initiation, they have to wear clothes. Female Naga Sadhus apply Tilak on their forehead. They are allowed to wear only one piece of cloth, which is of saffron colour. Female Naga Sadhus wear unstitched cloth, which is called Ganti. Before becoming a Naga Sadhu, a woman has to follow celibacy for 6 to 12 years.
