भारत में भी लेजर इंटरनेट सर्विस की एंट्री होगी। ये सर्विस हाई स्पीड इंटरनेट ऑफर करने में सक्षम है। लेजर इंटरनेट सर्विस एक प्रकार की वायरलेस इंटरनेट सेवा है जो लेजर बीम का उपयोग करके डेटा को भेजती है। लेजर इंटरनेट सेवा पारंपरिक वाईफाई और फाइबर ऑप्टिक केबल की तुलना में अधिक तेज है। लेजर इंटरनेट सर्विस अभी शुरुआती दौर में है और भारत में इसे आने में कुछ साल का समय लग सकता है। लेजर इंटरनेट सर्विस ऑस्ट्रेलिया, केन्या और फिजी समेत 13 देशों में पहले से ही इस्तेमाल की जा रही है।
