नया रोबोट आपदाग्रस्त क्षेत्रों में मददगार होगा
इटली, एजेंसी। प्रकृति के आधार पर नया रोबोट ‘फिलोबोट’ विकसित किया गया है। इस रोबोट की लंबाई अंगूर जैसे किसी बेल की तरह स्वतः बढ़ेगी। इसी डिजाइन के कारण ये आपदाग्रस्त क्षेत्रों में लगाने के बाद सहायक साबित होंगे।
मशीन में लगा हेड प्लास्टिक को पिघलाकर थ्रीडी प्रिट तकनीक से अपनी बॉडी को प्रिंट करेगा। फिलोबोट का हेड और बेस के बीच एक पतली सी नली लगाई गई है जिससे प्लास्टिक की सप्लाई होगी। उल्लेखनीय हैकि फिलोबोट के बढ़ने की दर धीमी है, यह एक मिनट में केवल कुछ मिलीमीटर ही बढ़ता है। इसे पतला और लचीला बनाया गया है। इसके अलावा यह चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में भी सहायक साबित हो सकता है। इसका दावा वैज्ञानिकों ने किया है। इसे विकसित करने वाली इटली यूनिवर्सिटी की इमैनुएला डले डोटरे और उनकी टीम ने पौधों में होने वाली प्रक्रिया फोटोट्रॉपिज्म, निगेटिव फोटोट्रापिज्म और ग्रैवाइट्रॉपिज्म का उपयोग किया है और इसी मेकैनिज्म की आधार पर यह रोबोट भी काम करेगा।

Emmanuella Dalle Dotre of the Italian University who developed it and her team have used the processes occurring in plants, phototropism, negative phototropism and gravitropism, and this robot will also work on the basis of this mechanism.
