In the court of the true Satguru, sorrows and pains are dispelled

दरबार में सच्चे सतगुरु के, दुख-दर्द मिटाये जाते हैं।
दुनिया के सताये लोग यहां, सीने से लगाये जाते हैं॥

यह महफिल है मस्तानों की, हर शख्स यहां पर मतवाला।
भर-भर के जाम इबादत के, यहां सबको पिलाये जाते हैं॥

ऐ जग वालों क्यों डरते हो, इस दर पर शीश झुकाने से।
ऐ नादानों यह वह दर है, सर भेंट चढ़ाये जाते हैं॥

इलजाम लगाने वालों ने, इलज़ाम लगाये लाख मगर।
तेरी सौगात समझ करके, हम सिर पे उठाये जाते हैं॥

जिन प्यारों पर ऐ जग वालों, हो खास इनायत सतगुरु की।
उनको ही संदेशा आता है, और वो ही बुलाये जाते हैं॥

In the court of the true Satguru, sorrows and pains are dispelled.
Those tormented by the world are embraced here with open arms.

This is an assembly of ecstatic devotees, every person here is intoxicated with divine love.
Cups overflowing with devotion are offered to everyone here.

O people of the world, why do you fear bowing your heads at this door?
O ignorant ones, this is the door where heads are offered as a sacrifice.

Those who leveled accusations, leveled countless accusations, but
Considering them as your gifts, we carry them upon our heads.

Those beloved ones, O people of the world, upon whom the Satguru bestows special grace,

मेरा जीवन सारा बीते, तेरा नाम जपते-जपते,

कोई बाधा न आने पाये, तेरी राह में चलते-चलते,

भवसागर में मेरी नइया, जिसका न कोई खिवैया।
मैं भवसागर तरि जाऊं, तेरा नाम जपते-जपते ॥

जिस हाल में तू रक्खे, खुश होके मैं गुजारूं।
मेरी स्वांसा पूरी होवे, तेरा नाम जपते-जपते ॥

तेरी मंजिल मुझे बुलाये, मेरे पांव डगमगायें।
तेरी मंजिल तक मैं पहुंचूं, तेरा दर्शन करते-करते ॥

मैं कुछ नहीं तू ही है सबकुछ, सबकुछ है तेरी माया।
मेरा हर पल जग में बीते, तेरी याद करते-करते ॥ ॥

May my entire life be spent, chanting Your name,

May no obstacle come in my way, as I walk on Your path,

My boat is adrift in the ocean of existence, with no one to guide it.
May I cross this ocean of existence, chanting Your name.

In whatever state You keep me, I will live happily.
May my last breath be taken, chanting Your name.

Your destination calls to me, though my feet falter.
May I reach Your destination, beholding Your divine form.

I am nothing, You are everything, everything is Your illusion.

जिनके कछु और आधार नहीं, तिनके तुम ही रखवारे हो ॥

भूले हैं हरि हम तुमको तो, तुम हमरी सुधि न बिसारे हो।
महाराज महा महिमा तुम्हरी, समझे बिरले बुद्धिवारे हो ॥
उपकारन को कछु अंत नहीं, छिन ही छिन जो विस्तारे हो।

सुख शांति निकेतन प्रेम निधे, मन मंदिर के उजियारे हो ॥
इस जीवन के तुम जीवन हो, इन प्राणन के तुम प्यारे हो।
तुम सों प्रभु पाय प्रताप हरि, सबके तुम नाथ सहारे हो ॥

Father, mother, helper, master, friend, You alone are our Lord.
For those who have no other support, You are their protector.

Even though we have forgotten You, O Lord, You have not forgotten us.
O King, Your glory is immense, understood only by a few wise ones.
There is no end to Your benevolence, which You extend moment by moment.

You are the abode of peace and happiness, the treasure of love, the light of the temple of our hearts.
You are the life of this life, You are the beloved of these very breaths.

शरणागत पाल कृपाल हरि, हमको एक आस तुम्हारी है।
तुम्हरे सम दूसर और नहीं, कोउ दीनन को हितकारी है।

सुधि लेत सदा सब जीवन की, कैसी करूणा उर धारी है।
प्रतिपाल करे बिन ही बदले, अस कौन पिता महतारी है ॥

जब नाथ दया कर देखत हो, छुट जात व्यथा संसारी है।
बिसराय तुम्हें जो सुख चाहे, वो महा नादान अनारी है ॥

चाहना स्वर्गहुं की हमें नहीं, ना हमको कीरति प्यारी है।
हम प्रेम भक्ति के हैं प्यासे, हरि चरण कमल रज प्यारी है ॥

सब भांति समर्थ सहायक हो, तव आश्रित बुद्धि हमारी है।
गुरु हंस कृपा के सागर हो, यह सेवक शरण तुम्हारी है ॥

There is no one else like You, no one else who is so kind to the helpless.

You always care for all living beings, what boundless compassion You possess!
Who else nurtures and sustains without expecting anything in return? What father or mother is like You?

When You, O Lord, look upon us with compassion, all worldly suffering vanishes.
He who seeks happiness by forgetting You is utterly foolish and ignorant.

We do not desire even heaven, nor is worldly fame dear to us.
We thirst for love and devotion; the dust of Your lotus feet is our dearest treasure.

You are all-powerful and our helper in every way; our intellect is dependent on You.

सृष्टि सुघर सजीली, सिरजी है कैसी तुमने।
सारे पदार्थ जग में, मन को लुभाने वाले ॥

आकाश भूमि भूधर, नक्षत्र शशि दिवाकर।
ये सब के सब हैं तेरी, महिमा जताने वाले ॥

दुनिया के ताप दोषों, से मुक्त बस वही है।
पदकंज में जो तेरे, हैं लौ लगाने वाले ॥

यद्यपि बहुत कठिन है, भवसिंधु पार जाना।
पर कुछ नहीं है चिंता, हो पार लगाने वाले ॥

दिया ज्ञान-नेत्र तुमने, त्रिकुटी में दिव्य ज्योति।
श्री संत रूप में हो, बंसी बजाने वाले ॥

मैं हूं शरण में तेरी, अब क्या है नाथ देरी।
भक्ति को अपनी दे दो, संमार्ग दिखाने वाले ॥

You are the embodiment of light, the dispeller of darkness.

You have opened the doors of our hearts, bestowing upon us divine knowledge.
We meditate upon You, O Deliverer from suffering.

How beautifully and exquisitely You have created this universe!
All the objects in the world are captivating to the mind.

The sky, the earth, the mountains, the stars, the moon, and the sun—
All of these proclaim Your glory.

Only those are free from the afflictions and evils of the world
Who fix their devotion at Your lotus feet.

Although it is very difficult to cross the ocean of worldly existence,
There is no need to worry, for You are the one who guides us across.

You have given us the eye of knowledge, the divine light in the third eye.
You are present in the form of the revered saint, playing the flute.

I have taken refuge in You, O Lord, what is the delay now?

नौका पड़ी भंवर में, तुफानों ने आन घेरी ॥

कब से भटक रहा हूं, एक सोच में पड़ा हूं।
कैसे किनारा पाऊं, जब हो दया न तेरी ॥

दुख दर्द की घटाएं, चारों तरफ से आयीं ।
अज्ञान का झमेला, बिगड़ी दशा है मेरी ॥

लाखों जनम गंवाये, आवागमन में पड़कर।
मंगल मिलन में तेरे, हो हाथ अब न देरी ॥

जीवन के दिन हैं कितने, बाकी रहे हैं जितने।
गुजरें तेरी लगन में, यह कामना है मेरी॥

O Lord, friend of the helpless, hear my plea.
May my life not pass by without your grace.

I am always weak, how can I find my way?
My boat is caught in a whirlpool, surrounded by storms.

For so long I have wandered, lost in thought.
How can I reach the shore without your mercy?

Clouds of sorrow and pain have gathered all around.
Entangled in ignorance, my condition is dire.

I have wasted countless lives, caught in the cycle of birth and death.
May there be no more delay in our auspicious union.

However many days of life remain,
May they be spent in devotion to you, this is my only wish.
