Everyone on the road was staring at her. Then some female policemen catch her and forcibly make her wear clothes after taking a bath. At another place, it is seen that female Naga Sadhus are worshiping without clothes. Many people raised the question that what do these Naga female Sadhus do during their periods?
How do they live during their periods?
Let us tell you that female Naga Sadhus rarely come in front of people. Now Maha Kumbh is going to be held in Prayagraj, so they will also be seen in large numbers in it. Female Naga Sadhus do not remain naked. They all wear saffron colored clothes. That saffron cloth is unstitched, so they do not face any problem during their periods. They worship Lord Shiva from morning to evening. Male Naga Sadhus are allowed to remain naked in public places but women are not.
They have to remain celibate
When women become Naga Sadhus by taking initiation, they have to wear clothes. Female Naga Sadhus apply Tilak on their forehead. They are allowed to wear only one piece of cloth, which is of saffron colour. Female Naga Sadhus wear unstitched cloth, which is called Ganti. Before becoming a Naga Sadhu, a woman has to follow celibacy for 6 to 12 years.

हाल ही में सोशल मीडिया पर नागा महिला साधुओं का वीडियो आया, जिसमें वो बिना कपड़ों के दिखाई देती है। एक जगह दिखाई पड़ता है कि महिला नागा साधु पूरे शरीर में मिट्टी लगाए बिना कपड़ों के ही घूम रही है।
उसे सड़क पर सब लोग घूर-घूर कर देख रहे थे। तभी कुछ महिला पुलिसकर्मी उन्हें पकड़ लेती हैं और नहा के जबरदस्ती वस्त्र पहनाती हैं। वहीँ एक अन्य जगह दिखाई देता है कि महिला नागा साधु बिना वस्त्र के पूजा कर रही हैं। कई लोगों ने सवाल उठाया कि ये नागा महिला साधु ऐसे में पीरियड के दिनों में क्या करती हैं?
पीरियड में कैसे रहती हैं?
आपको बता दें कि महिला नागा साधु वैसे तो लोगों के सामने कम ही आती हैं। अब प्रयागराज में महाकुंभ लगने वाला है तो उसमें बड़ी संख्या में वो भी दिखाई देंगी। महिला नागा साधु निर्वस्त्र होकर नहीं रहती हैं। वो सभी गेरुआ रंग के कपड़े पहनती हैं। वह गेरुआ वस्त्र बिना सिला हुआ रहता है, ऐसे में पीरियड के दिनों में उन्हें दिक्कत नहीं होता। वो सुबह से शाम तक भगवान शिव का आराधना करती हैं। पुरुष नागा साधुओं को सार्वजानिक जगहों पर नग्न रहने की अनुमति मिली हुई है लेकिन महिला को नहीं।
रहना पड़ता है ब्रह्मचारी
महिलाएं जब दीक्षा लेकर नागा साधु बन जाती हैं तो उन्हें वस्त्र धारण करना पड़ता है। महिला नागा साधु अपने माथें पर तिलक लगाती हैं। उन्हें एक ही कपड़ा पहनने की अनुमति मिलती हैं, जो गेरुए रंग का रहता है। महिला नागा साधु बिना सिले हुए कपड़ा पहनती हैं, जिसको गंती कहा जाता है। नागा साधु बनने से पहले महिला को 6 से 12 साल तक ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करना पड़ता है।
